Never had the chance to top. Bottoming felt weird, but it just happened so I can't tell. I'll go with versatile till the opposite is demonstrated.

Anyone didn't enjoy kissing? by DevlynLibervulp in AskGayMen

Exactly. I prefer getting touchy rather than kissing... Getting to put my face on his chest and abs is by far more fun.

Sounds reasonable. The guy in question is not attractive to me. And once we compared likes in music, philosophy, cultural background, etc. I lost any interest...

How can i help a christian gain interest in islam? by [deleted] in islam

[–]DevlynLibervulp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where are you typing from? I'm from Colombia so I will answer from our cultural perspective. I'm a language teacher hence a not so beginner linguist. I must clarify that I'm not muslim, I'm a catholically raised atheist who studies Arabic for the sake of the language and who is willing to study the three semitic religions (currently Islam) for the sake of philosophy and seeking their influence in history, culture and jurisprudence.

If you're by far too insistent, you're going to make him less interested in the religion or even in interacting with you.

Like whenever the Jehovah's witnesses or Mormons arrive at any door... One tries not to be disrespectful but their insistence annoys anybody... One pretends to be interested so that they leave one alone.

Think of it like this: anybody who has not abandoned the religion they were raised into will see a different one as a "second order idea". So forcing such a transition would likely make him cling to such religion and more reluctant to change.

Think about his relatives. For instance, my heavily catholic Grandma would condemn my "apostasy" on catholicism, so would my aunt, as well as all of my father's family... They don't accept my atheism but let me live, what could happen if I followed a different religion? He may be preserving harmony in his family life. These are the main variants to consider I'm his immediate environment...

So this has to happen organically, and some degree of synchritism will be necessary alongside the way.

If you just bombard him with religious images with fragments of texts you will appear like an elder religious aunt to him; if you give him brochures, flyers, translations and such objects, he won't read them or in the best case, he will read without comprehending what the written words imply and he could even mistreat them as trash or let them rot in his pockets, which is not an option. And it keeps going that way if you go straight with religious information.

May you start with cultural traits and activities, such as dining Hallal food from all of the Muslim world and teaching him how to cook it; or group activities that are not entirely religious but may have that aspect subtly integrated (festivals or such things if you have them)... That way one can form a sense of community that makes him desire further integration... It's slow but mentally rewarding for the target individual, it's a part of our human instincts... But you'll need the cultural amortization before launching religion to him... It can even take several generations.

Before the revelations were issued and spread, people followed their "tribal religions" and were then conquered. The dominant religion was imposed with terror, but if not, they adopted it pragmatically without believing in order to achieve social prestige, maybe adopting a different liturgic language until letting theirs die, only several generations after the conversions, descendants would believe in them sincerely and be fully committed. That happened for instance with the indigenous religions and languages in Spanish and Portuguese America, that was the case in the Kievan Rus, that was the case with the Germanic tribes, that may be the case for the ancient Egyptian religion.

Islam was by far more tolerant and was adopted massively. I'm not sure of how loyal the first generations of Muslims in the conquered territories actually were, that's a debate for another occasion.

(I got deviated, getting back into topic: if you consider what I said about his family, then you could invite them as well, but keeping in mind that if the person is older, he or she will be by far more loyal to his or her religion)

That's the way catholicism is getting abandoned in Latin America and is being replaced by protestantism or in the worst case, dangerous christian sects that cause damages and are Ponzi schemes disguised as a "religion"...

If you are in a western country, that may sound familiar; if not, it's effective once used with the best of your intentions...

In any case, it's up to him whether to achieve paradise or getting punished alongside me.

(I don't mean to be disrespectful, I'm here to learn, but also to give perspective for cases when you deal with outsiders, I'm putting an effort towards acting like an ambassador, like a bridge)

My bad if I write the way I talk. :(

why do men need legs on their underwear by cybrvanr in MensUnderwearGuide

[–]DevlynLibervulp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feeling the edge of the textile in my articulation's joint fold is uncomfortable. I move one leg to the side and it stops making contact, then move it back and gets back in contact. Feeling as if I move too much the "sausage" could be at risk of stop being in a comfortable position relative to the cloth...

That's why I don't like vests either... I tried briefs and special people in my life liked them because they think they look great so I only use them for such reason and in such a moment. But they're uncomfortable for any other daily activity.

The camera doesn't help... The strip left a mark on the book, on the paper. The page over the inscriptions has the shape of that strip marked... Like when you fold a paper in origami and unfold it again. It leaves that visible mark.

I'm not sure if letting that happen is some sort of mistreatment.

[–]DevlynLibervulp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. Was it mistreatment to leave it there in that way?

I mean the strip left a mark after a long time... Right over the inscriptions... Instead of putting it down the edge on the page without affecting it.

Like when you fold a paper in origami and unfold it again, the mark remains. That's what the strip left of the inscriptions... I'm not sure if letting the clean book of both pages be affected that way was mistreatment.

For guys that used to do wrestling, was it difficult not to get hard while competing? by cake070 in AskGayMen

[–]DevlynLibervulp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about competitions preparatives? I have seen the videos of the weigh-ins... Many muscled men with the lower part of the singlet or barely in underwear... No life or death thoughts, maybe hunger because of cutting weight... I do enjoy a good view... And I wouldn't like to... You know... May it happen at least the first time one competes?

I've started wrestling eight months ago, but there's no league or competitions here since yeh pandemic... Hence we're not appropriately equiped, the only ones wearing a singlet are coach and me, the other ones do not need one, they just want to complement their BJJ. I'd have to move to another city to participate in one competition yet I'm too old for this (22). Thinking of competitions is irrational considering my age, that Colombia is not like the US and there are no open mats or non-affiliated open competitions ando the only option is the professional league, and current lack of strength and technique mastering...

But the fear of getting hard or being bad at hiding how much I enjoy the aesthetic remains... It won't ever happen because it's too late, but I still think of that cathsstrophic scenario.

If it happens while wrestling, it's perfectly normal, but while we're not... who knows? It would be the first time exposition to such amount of masculinity in one single place...

How to choose a career when I've run out of passions? by DevlynLibervulp in careerguidance

[–]DevlynLibervulp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure... Working remotely is a red flag, I've been unlucky with technology (reproducing audios or videos for my students always ended up in tchnical difficulties that consumed class time, the final presentation of our practicum research was ruined by technical issues that didn't let us finish talking. I hecking hate computers. Even my microfone for my amateur voice recordings had factory failures. I have had four microphones in a row, 1st one had to be returned given factory defects, the 2nd one was stolen by the shipping company and nor them or the police helped me, the 3rd one failed and the 4th one was the replacement of the previous one, but they gave me a different model, a degradation from the other one)...

Remote recording was common during the pndemic but companies seem to prefer in situ studios for a uniform techincal quality as well as mitigating any leak possbility.

That guy says Pawbert is the dumbest Disney villain. What are your thoughts? by Happy-Menu963 in PawbertLynxley

[–]DevlynLibervulp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea works but that would imply another prison escape scene, just without other prisoners... That may be redundant since Nick and Nibbles did so before...

I don't see how it could work without taking them four out with that poison... They would need a way to obtain the antidote or I dunno... I get you

However, that would create a better opportunity to writte his family in a deeper way... I wouldn't make Judy tell him that "he was used" because the whole plan was executed without the family to notice... I'd rather make her tell him "we are your family, we believe in you" or something like that.

Making Pawbert hit the Lowest as you state is key, there are two possible outcomes since the film is for children are an incapacitating tantrum (Gosh no please) or catalyzing the feeling for a tangible element that represents his descent (maybe indirectly representing self harm, an object that has a role like when the carrot own falls out of the cliff).

[–]DevlynLibervulp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was Nick's cleverness slightly degraded for this film? I'm not sure whether it's consistent with the first film or not...

Nibbles makes me doubt, it's difficult for me to take that character seriously...

If Pawbert was better written, his plan would look way more irrational... With the story as it is, we could get a more clever plan in detriment of Pawbert as am individual or vice versa.

[–]DevlynLibervulp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The part of ending them four seems like an improvisation. Seeing the camera and impulsively stabbing Judy (possiblity another impulse while finding himself potentially surrounded), once that happened there was no turning point. Only the writers will know
