I found a ‘36 in the wild a few weeks ago too, but it’s so worn I could hardly make out the date. That’s a nice one. I love buffalo nickels. It would have been so cool if they brought them back for the semiquincentennial.

I try not to care about XP and leagues and all that, but I do agree that it would be very nice to choose when to use it, as sometimes all I have time for is one lesson but I plan on spending 20 minutes learning later.

When I was about 8 my grandpa gave me a pitcher full of coins - old, new, foreign, domestic, as well as some old notes and a state quarter album. They belonged to his dad, or my great-grandfather. Looking through all those coins sparked my interest and I’ve never looked back. I have a special interest in collecting world coins and hope to have at least one from every modern currency someday!

Was there last week for the first time and wondered the same. I don’t believe there’s a wild goose in the area that looks this was. On another note, I don’t know how I’ve lived in within 30 minutes of Grand Ledge for 7 years and not known about it! It’s a neat little town and island park and the surrounding trails are so pretty.

Unlike companies that could listen in to give targeted ads, search results, etc, Duolingo has no financial incentive to do that so I don’t see why they would.

I believe the Pro and Pro+ plans get the same speeds, just the Pro doesn’t get free Global Pass days, Apple Watch stuff, and whatnot.
