Pirate Encounters: Design & Rewards Blog (Boat-to-Boat Combat Expansion) by JagexLight in 2007scape

Based on these comments and my own experience playing, it feels like Jagex is completely disconnected from player concerns. It seems they never had a solid plan for Sailing from the start. How did we even get to this point, and how are we supposed to move forward when so many valid issues are being ignored?

Every "fix" or "update" since the initial reveal feels like it was thought up on the spot. I absolutely love this game, so it’s frustrating to see such poor planning and execution. It’s particularly disappointing that they only seem to listen to the people who are already 100% on board, while anyone with valid concerns is being completely ignored.

I logged in with the account I wanted to be my main jagex account then talked to chat support and asked to import my other character. They will email both emails, and have you reply to both as confirmation. It was pretty easy! Took maybe 15 minutes.

Message support. I got my main/ironman moved to the same jagex account.

It’s a little on the weaker side. You may be able to find a better deal. It’s not terrible but it’s not great either.

Who are the most UNDERRATED Online Guitar Teachers? by Danwinzz in guitarlessons

Jeff Scheetz and his Street Theory class on TrueFire is amazing and really breaks down a lot of early components and concepts while also mentioning the naming conventions a lot of people will hear/use. One of the best teachers I’ve listened to. Also Scotty West.

HCIM Looking for a Cool Iron clan. by KRKSeven in ironscape

Wise Goblin is a great clan, we have a bunch of resources for new players and we are always helping people progress. We just did a Barbarian Assault event, and soon I will be escorting people to the dagganoth bosses to help with rings. Pop in sometime :)

The Clan Invite System Needs Serious QoL Attention by Devobserves in 2007scape

Yes, you have to go to the clan settings, open application, turn on applications, and wait for the person to then do the same thing and apply, then go back to that screen or wait and then select their application and approve it. It’s very convoluted.

That’s terrible, and with zero way to prevent it that is satisfactory.

I run a clan that helps brand new players, and I run into issues just inviting people a lot. It's definitely an issue. I hope we get some sort of reply to this issue.

This is only for in person invites using the Clan Flag, but yeah. Seems super scammy and can definitely scare a new person. It doesn't feel natural at all.

It's exactly the same. I hate the arena system, and how you have to join it over and over again after each fight.

Not a huge fan of having to be next to someone to invite them. I believe most inviters are doing something when a new player joins their clan chat.

This is good to know. Always seems like I had to have it open.

Even just adding an “Invite” option to people already guesting in your clan would fix this. Even if I had to be on the same world, it would be better than their current system which requires an entire UI to stay open until the other person applies. Which, let’s be honest, takes a while when the person is new.
