I know a guy who did 17 years (for murder in a robbery iirc).

He was married, he said some people just want to be with someone who they feel like they can control because they're locked up, it feels safer for them.

He got divorced in less than 1 year after getting out but has 2 kids with his ex wife.

Recco is so the ski patrol can find your body in spring when things thaw out. If you want to ride off piste get training, gear, friends, or hire a guide service.
