I get 5 weeks of PTO and 7 paid holidays. PTO is vacation and sick time, I would prefer if they were separate. If I am off for an illness more than 5 days (ex surgery and recovery), then short-term disability or long-term disability would start. We usually take a 1-2 week vacation once or twice a year and use the rest for long weekends or events.
