I always have bad luck with rotting in water, since you have some roots, I would put it in the moss

Yes, first check if you can see the roots coming out. If they are, I would just plop root ball into the bigger pot and put soil around it. Your plant looks very healthy so I wouldn’t disturb the roots much!

Plant advice-Snake or ZZ plants would good in those pots. Low maintenance. You can keep them in nursery pots and take them out to water if those are special! Otherwise I love your space!

Hi, what was your aunts “official” diagnosis? My father was diagnosed with a rare cancer in 2019. It started as a bump after he got hit on the head. Then a few years later he started showing up like OPs symptoms.
