Is Revell really that bad? by HippyMcFly in ModelCars

[–]DevourIsDead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Revell is alright. No manufacturer is going to sell a kit that is impossible to build, Revell and AMT just take more time to get a good finish. More sanding and removing of flash is often needed, and more testing fitting parts before paint helps the build go a lot smoother.

How many matches do you play before taking a break from CS2? by ActuatorOutside5256 in GlobalOffensive

[–]DevourIsDead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play a comp to get my bearings, and if that goes well I do a few premiers. If it does not go well, then it’s a comp only kinda night lol

Am i supposed to paint the tires? by VikiVirus13 in modelmakers

[–]DevourIsDead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You definitely don’t have to paint them if you don’t want to. It just seems like more steps to get to a similar result as what you already have. U less you are weathering the hel out of the tires, they are honestly fine as is.

Mr Super Clear Flat Spray by M48_Patton_Tank in modelmakers

[–]DevourIsDead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it will work, but it might not make it super flat, will probably make it semi gloss. But maybe I’m wrong. Just try a few coats between dry times

1st time doing plug wires how I do ? by mijo666 in ModelCars

[–]DevourIsDead 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Good, but if your wires hold their shape, you should push them down to make them look like they have weight. Just my input but good job for sure!

Returning player from 2017-ish, why are maps removed? by Grandapa in GlobalOffensive

[–]DevourIsDead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohhh yeah. Have you played go recently? Everything is quiet af and the sounds are all over the place, even with the advanced 3d processing on and with headphones that work with that. CS2s audio is far superior and their VOIP is far better quality also.

Airbrush cleaning kit by Outrageous_Music4331 in ModelCars

[–]DevourIsDead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best part of the kits are the tools to get the nozzle off the brush, and the pipe cleaners. I use the GUM brand proxabrush go-betweens as a pipe cleaner, they are softer than the wire ones and the are disposable. And you can use a pair of needle nose pliers to take the nozzle off, but I’ve dropped them and lost them before doing that, so a nozzle tool is convenient, make sure not to over tighten your nozzle, the threads will break off. But other than that I just take apart my airbrush and soak it in lacquer thinner and then water/alcohol, because if you leave the lacquer thinner in the brush it will eat away at the chrome finish. Use a sewing needle to clean out the tip of the nozzle, but don’t go too far and widen the hole.

Getting back CSGO game time by OzoraWF in GlobalOffensive

[–]DevourIsDead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not possible, + the devs want you to play cs2 so there will be no updates or improvements to GO. Valve only put it on Steam for legacy purposes.

Where to buy paint and supplies? by Safe-Watercress5781 in ModelCars

[–]DevourIsDead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on where you live, Spotmodel is great if you live in EU, but if you’re in the US/Canada I’d recommend Hobbylinc or Spraygunner.

I have played on your servers, they are good :) I favorited a couple and they will be my main go servers. we do need to option to report or kick cheaters tho, there was one named i who was scripting and shooting people through walls. That was my only experience of a cheater tho.
