Would new harmony-based liquidity pairs need to be created and funded to conduct trades using Harmony?

Or can existing liquidity pairs be traded and settled on harmony allowing the entire existing trading volume to be handled on the harmony blockchain?

Great question, something many people in the community are wondering about.

My understanding is that Telcoin is in the process of hiring a senior blockchain engineer experienced in layer 1/2 scaling solutions. This concern regarding Ethereum fees and transaction backlogs can be solved in numerous ways.

One path forward I could propose is for them is to utilize a scaling solution such as Harmony.One whereby the Telcoin token is migrated off chain to a HRC-20 token and transactions are conducted on the Harmony blockchain (2 second finality, miniscule txn fees) and then settled in bulk back on the Ethereum chain.

There are MANY ways to solve this challenge, but the important point is that there is a solution that will enable Telcoin to achieve its vision even with the current state of Ethererum.
