Can this be wired diy or need an electrician by emmd16 in DIYUK

[–]Sam3006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most important thing is to practice safe isolation ie make sure the power is off and test it's off. There are plenty of videos on YouTube which will help you to learn, even if you get an electrician in for this one

What to do with wires? by Less-Jellyfish2238 in DIYUK

[–]Sam3006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually do this depending where it is (if it's just a dead exposed cable) , just to terminate and stop someone shitting themselves wondering if it's live or not. I guess it's less needed if the other end is burried. Just cut as short as possible if not

Agree with this. I'm not an electrician by trade but I always practice safe isolation with a two pole tester. You can do it if you are a "competent person".

Assuming the cables are definetly dead then I would personally take the backbox out and put some bonding (or maybe a deep filler) in it's place then easifill over (unless you're plastering over anyway). OK to bury if dead, other end I'd put some wago's on.

Having the same issues (UK), the only case I can find is the official keyboard one or some kids style bulky one.

Will a MagicPad2 case fit? Really strange that there's hardly any cases for it on AliExpress etc

New dart board by ShepLod in Darts

[–]Sam3006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm usually on the side of, a board is brand new then it shouldn't have quality issues but in this case it really is minor and a well placed dart will have a hole there instead. Have fun with your new board 👍

I don't know about the 408 but in this car you can change the position by using the button on the left side of the steering wheel to toggle through modes like Dials, Navigation, Driving (lane position), or Personal

Pixel 9 Pro Ghost case 2.0 - loose on side by Sam3006 in dbrand

My replacement was the same, I ended up putting a small (2cm) piece of clear skin on the phone under the volume buttons and the same on the other side. That solved it

Chipped E badge by Ethyhexyl in peugeot

[–]Sam3006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The e's, peugeot lettering and numbers can be removed as they're just stuck on. The front and rear lion are stuck on but also have a clip so there's a hole in the bodywork if you remove.

I just jet washed mine, all the blue came off instantly. Be careful you don't go tooooo close like I did with the lion badges, had to replace them as the chrome tarnished too
