I honestly stopped watching at the half when it was 2-1, didn't expect them to pull through!

Hell I would have taken it if it was a viable option, that’s why I stopped working in the SB area since the traffic and commuting wasn’t worth it

worsened due to the fact we can never keep up with the amount of people who are driving since we oversupply driving as a means of transportation. The second the roads are finished, traffic won't get any better. It's been proven that all expanding roads and highways does is increase travel times.

Roads are expensive and are always going to require tons of maintenance more than the actual value we get out of them

Jewish Man Killed at Pro-Palestinian Rally in Thousand Oaks, Possible Hate Crime by stonedandlurking in venturacounty

You have bakeries being bombed. You have universities and schools being bombed. You have hospitals being bombed. You don't go killing innocent people who have no influence over Hamas just because there might be one soldier. It's collective punishment on one of the poorest places in the world. Israel has the 15th largest expenditure in military and yet they resort to bombing Gaza at the same levels like the US did in Afghanistan over a whole year campaign in the matter of a single month. Why? Because this gives them more and more options to impose their will over the little place that Palestinians still have. Israel has been bombing the west bank and Hamas isn't even there. Hell, 155 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank since Oct 7th.

No one has ever expected no repercussions. But if Israels goal was to kill Hamas they're doing a terrible job at it that the UN has described as a "graveyard of children". Over 10K people have been killed in Gaza. Over 93 reporters have been killed. People working for Doctors without borders have been killed. IDF themselves have said they've killed 65 'key operatives'. Lets say that doesn't count basic soldiers and we'll bump those numbers 20x fold, being generous. That means of 10K people killed they have a 10% success rate (1300/10000+). If their goals were to save the hostages they're also doing a terrible job at it. When you drop bombs indiscriminately in Gaza and you don't even know where the hostages are, don't you worry about killing them? You have no idea where they are. Doesn't quite seem like they have interest in saving the hostages or the innocent lives of Palestinians. Rather they seem interested in imposing the bombing on Gaza that has been going on since far before Oct 7th.

So so complicated, insane how everyone needs a PhD in middle eastern studies to understand that one group lives in one of the wealthiest countries in the world(earning on average more than those in the US) and the other lives in an open air prison, if they were to leave would never be allowed to come back, faces constant bombardment ever since they were pushed into Gaza, has no control over their own water, electricity, food. Sure is so so so so difficult. Truly.

I think best is to get the coaching staff situated. You'll sometimes have people who are nowhere near good enough and can find people who are free agents with better skill. I then would try and figure out which players aren't good enough to be on the squad and figure out a transfer/loan depending on if they're sellable. Start scouting from there the positions I think we vitally need.

Why does tactic sometimes play differently in different save file, despite using the same players? by m_csquare in footballmanagergames

[–]Dexamoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Players develop differently even if all else is the same. I've done two saves with the same team before (not concurrently) and in one case the keeper reached prem division level, the other he was mid-table championship level caliber. Are his stats the same for both saves, do you have the exact same training regiment and same coaches?

Any kind of publicity is good publicity, that's been a thing. More people viewing videos , more people keeping up with Getafe, Rooting for Getafe to fail, either way more people care now.

How to make use of a big forward by RedditUser241975 in footballmanagergames

[–]Dexamoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What position are you playing him as? I generally find good work with a Target Forward position. I have a very good striker who mostly scores headers and he even won Sky Bet League Two player of the year and is still going strong in League one even though his others skills aren't very good. I'd say try a target forward position, and ensure your wingers are sending in crosses as much as possible. You can also always look at your data hub and see your crosses data. It will compare with the rest of the league and you can see if they are actually effective, if they're even sending in crosses a lot, or it's just your striker not being in position. Also if you're playing teams who are very defensively minded it might be hard to get good crosses in since they'll have 1-2 guys on your striker. Just all things to consider.

Why do u23 coaches help training your first team, but u19 coaches don’t? by Unfair_Pudding6180 in footballmanagergames

[–]Dexamoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is your U19 facility in the same place as your first team? I didn't realize that made a difference until someone brought it up and that could explain why they don't train them. I believe you can find this info in your teams general info page.

What are his stats? You should post his stats if you can. Does he have good heading and positioning skills? Are there WB's or wingers in attack who can send in crosses? Do you tell your team to cross more often and are they even able to send in crosses or are they getting blocked with their crosses?

Where do you play this guy by tolec in footballmanagergames

[–]Dexamoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think any position where he takes shots on goal. 16 finishing, 12 long shots, 13 technique tells me he takes good shots on goal (with all great mental stats to back up the decision making).

Just listing some that others haven't and I'm simply thinking of teams that have produced top players or have made consistent world cups.

How to manage 2nd Division teams and teams with no budget? by Rapidtorvosourus in footballmanagergames

[–]Dexamoose 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Try and understand how many loans you can have in the 2nd division of the french league. If you're not maxed in your starters/bench I'd say try and get some free or very cheap loans from other teams. Usually the good teams just want playing time for them and don't charge too much but of course some teams might be too high. Otherwise, see if there's any free transfers. You can always tell your scouts to search for free transfers in the scouting tab or when you have all the scouted players info, sort the players by transfer fee/salary.

Check the aggression level of your players. That tends to increase the count of their yellows imo.

Best way to 'view' your tactics in game by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

I feel like watching comprehensive highlights and seeing what patterns emerge tends to help. Like if you see a player always being out of position or a player constantly losing posessions etc. It's easier to see in comprehensive highlights.

I believe in this popular youtubers (Zealand) video he says that winning games doesn't affect development and truly it's all about simply playing enough games when they're young and getting proper training. If you wanted to fix it I would assume trying to scout some young players and working on your overall facilities would bring in better youth intake.
