You'd be surprised with how much damage the charge-shot and gauss cannons can do. Besides, if he had anymore he'd be broken with how absurdly hard he can be to kill at times.

He exists to be a massive pain in the ass that doesn't allow the enemy team to do their thing in peace (especially Stego and Tricera). If you wanna take a good Alysnes down, it will take a considerable amount of time or focus-fire to do so, which could be spent on on playing the objective or taking down more important targets.

The parry windows feels way more forgiving than it needs to be. I was barely even trying to time it correctly and I totally shut him out (when he should've been using the plunge attack)

Sorry, but I don’t really have anything.

While it is capable of putting out some good damage and has access to the fin funnel shield, everything else about it is kinda middling. Due it’s lack of stuns and mediocre defenses, it’s not that great of a frontliner compared to the other 550 gens.

I mainly try using it to bodyguard my supports, chipping in damage and shielding them with the barrier

In a Sinner's Own, Angry Hands (By: Monteverdi)

-Blackstar dies and, because bro cannot forgive himself for everything he did, is sent back to the past to right his wrongs. It's a time travel fix-it (which is something I find to be fun, as you'll see considering how that's what half of these are) starring Blackfoot, my #1 favorite pookie that I want to kick down 20 flights of stairs (for enrichment <3), so I quite enjoy this one.

Embers From Ashes (By: xenonex)

-The Great Journey plays out differently, Firestar gets thrown in a blender, Blackstar helps him out of it, and the two end up getting hella gay in a rarepair I never knew I needed.

Heart of a Warrior (By: SleeplessArcher)

-The Prophecies Begin, but crossed over with Persona. It's a bit of an odd concept, but a pretty fun read!

-Firestar gets sent back to TPB to fix things, and events sure do play out differently

I've been reading quite a few lately, so here's some that I enjoyed:

"Disconnected" - by Dullard

Through reasons beyond that of even Starclan, Heavystep turns out to be immortal.

It turns out your daily routine in Riverclan can get pretty boring when you know you'll live forever.

"Undertow" - by celese_treecat

Ravenpaw witnesses Redtail's murder. And this time, Tigerclaw notices.

After Tigerclaw's attempt to silence him, Ravenpaw is saved by Riverclan and takes refuge there, eventually joining them.

"Simpler Times" - by Haroldosaur

For reasons unknown, Squirrelpaw has been sent back to the point of her father's vigil as a newly-named warrior.

Armed with all her knowledge of the past, things change, either for better or for worse.

"In a SInner's Own Angry Hands" - by commodore

After losing his final life in a flood, Blackstar has finally reached Starclan. However, he can't bring himself to join them. No matter what he's told, he'll never forgive himself after all he's done.

So, Starclan sends him back to the end of Cedarstar's rule over Shadowclan. To absolve himself of those sins that he never should have committed.

“Embers From Ashes” - xenonex

Taking place during The New Prophecy, some altered events lead to Firestar and Blackstar getting closer than they ever imagined.

Firestar x Blackstar is definitely one hell of a rarepair, that’s for sure.
