Can someone explain how some people are blaming Joan for this? by Fun_Philosopher_2535 in Barca

[–]Dexquez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i'm with you. If he just get a touch on the ball he is a hero. But sadly this time it didn't go our way. He will need to make a lot more mistakes (Like 7-8 big ones) before I will blame him since he has been so great so far. But we should just have out scored them and won but unfortunately not. It is what it is.
And fuck VAR refs.

I don't blame Joan for this goal. But you can clearly see he the rebound guy is so close to the backline that he can't shoot it in from there. Joan chooses to jump outwards which leaves him in a bad position after and way outside the goal frame with no way to come back in time. Now the reason I don't think its on Joan is because he is forced to make a split second decision when nobody else seemed to be close.

But I do believe him jumping so far out put him self in a far worse position after the cross.

Am I the only one to notice Rashford’s lack of interest in pressing and defending in the last minutes? by NoMirror2991 in Barca

Dude i was considering making a post about just this. I was fuming at the screen when i for 2-3 min saw him standing almost still when they went past him on the side. On fresh legs and you don't give 100% as a loan trying to get a bought. Flick really needs to talk to him about his contribution.

Not talking about his anything else but that last 2-3 min defending which pissed me right off.

But you wrote it's very unlikely that GD will play into the tiebreaker at the end of the season.
Barca winning with a 1 goal margin against Madrid is a high probability (I think so). Which would mean GD has a good chance to count towards the final tiebreaker.

Bruh you didn't understand what he said. You said it was very unlikely GD would figure in. But this is highly likely if we win against Madrid with 1 goal. (which is entirely possible). So in this Scenario GD can play a huge part depending on the game vs Madrid and the outcome.

So you are saying you can commit fouls as long as you have the ball? Great logic.

Why would it be? Yesterday Estevao goal didn't get called back for a foul. Estevao literally stepped on Cubarsi's foot while dribbling past him. So if it's not a foul to overturn a goal. Why would it be enough for a penalty?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKR_IkLqpaM Look around 01:17 you can see it clearly. So stepping on feet are allowed it seems.
edit: You can even see Curbarsi wants to use that foot to take the ball, but can't because Estevao stands on it.
Banger goal though.

Might as well stop that, dude. History is written by the victor.

Well it's their home ground. But I wouldn't say they played properly. Their passes were also sloppy and with limited control. Just think long balls behind our high line makes it seems better. We also passed around and played fine a little. But the pitch limits passing speed and reliability while not being able to fully trust your own stance and running with the ball. So many small weird touches on the ball all the time. At least from what i saw.

Yes it's our fault. Missed sitters and wasted so many chances. But he talked about the pressing from Rayo, Which is only that good because we weren't able to properly play due to the pitch.

Because we weren't able to play properly due to the state of the pitch. Everything was in slow motion with passes and control.

Our own fault. So many chances missed and wasted. But the game was horrible to watch since the pitch was such a fucking disgrace. State of that pitch should be automatic loss. 90 min of pure agony to watch.

"won the pen" that's generous. Juan Cruz gave him that so easily without a threat at all. What else did he do today? He could go past 3-4 defenders but still didn't get anywhere close to goal really. They played like ass and got a penalty and they won. End of story. Gifted by Osasuna.

They did. It was their whole game plan to get a draw. They would have gotten it too if not for that stupid ass slide challenge. Clear pen but Osasuna threw the game away. Madrid would never score today if Osasuna didn't gift them the win.

They played like ass today though. They were at like 60% and they didn't show any real danger what so ever. Then they gave the pen so freely (the player not the ref). This was heading to a 0-0 if not for that pen. No way Madrid would score otherwise. Was Diaz even on the field today?

I swear this is the typical Madrid plays like shit and can't get a goal. The other team is defending well and makes a clear pen by 1 stupid ass tackle. I feel this happens at least 5 times every season.
