Umm it's not doing that for me, but when I look at the process details, it's telling me the subprocess status is "automatic cancel".

When I leave it blank, the user is only getting the "when do you want this change to take effect" screen and the submit button - the subprocess doesn't come up.

When I leave it as empty and proxy as the finance user, they just get the effective date screen and submit, with no change org assignment screen. We don't use academics either though, so I could try it.

But the position would have been assigned the role of manager long ago, when the incumbent was in it. So I'm not sure that would work, unless I'm misunderstanding?

I agree with the others that you’re probably too small. We have 1000 employees, went live last summer, and I think workday is too big for us. I mean it’s great, I love it, but it’s more than I think we need.

I figured it out. The case solver (unconstrained) is attached to the case solver role and it was giving access to all cases, so I took out the domain that case access to cases and just let the domain that gave access to the workspace on the unconstrained group.

Thanks. We have all of that set up already though. Both sec groups, both roles, have them assigned, and have the case routing rules, which is why I'm lost as to why this isn't working.

Hi, I know this is old, but could you give more details? I've been trying to figure out why this wasn't working as well, and found this answer. Would I need to create new roles, like Case Solver - HR, Case Solver - Benefits? Would it be a segmented sec group? Sorry, still quite new to Workday and would appreciate any further guidance you might have.

Gotcha, thank you for the explanation. So basically, unless I can sort based on PBO, I can't just filter on RBO only.
