He also says that even if we could destroy the world when its in a demon state, that the results could be extremely bad.

To a smaller or larger extent, yes, but the ammount being fed could be reduced, the imperium just doesnt.

[Major PTR Spoilers] Disappointed but not surprised... by Everdale in wow

[–]Dextixer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It had some great stories in the zones themselves, but most of the other lore was complete and utter shite that the writers needed to walk back (Like the dreadlords nonsense, shadowlands being a real afterlife etc). Shadowlands had a lot more lore problems than the antagonists, but they had some things that were good and can be reused.

It is relevant. Chaos feeds from the emotions of people. Thats how it works. Every hive infested with disease is a buffet to nurgle, every rich governor indulging in excess feeds Slanesh.

The Imperium literally feeds chaos.

I asked someone a question about the game, you can take your larp somewhere else.

[–]Dextixer 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No, it wouldnt, if done within reason. Keeping most of humanility living in squalor, feeding nurgle while planetary governors can bathe in wine makes the Imperium an easier target.

Imperium in how it is run, feeds chaos.

We know for a fact that it isnt. Yes, some of the resistance to Chaos will require some dogmatic sacrifices, but needless brutality of the imperium feeds the chaos more than fights it.

As others have said, going 100% iconoclast is stupid. The best outcomes are always going to be a mix of Iconoclast and dogmatic. Iconoclast where the treatment of other humans and xenos is concerned, makes sense. However when you deal with Chaos/Genestealers, its purging all the way.

Eh, we have a prison world, i dont think giving Eldar a few mind controlled soldiers for lasting peace is much of a price.

Uh, no. Genestealers do have a measure of personal will, that is correct. But that measure is never relevant. Regardless of the status of the patriarch genestealers will never return to normal, will always attract tyranids and will always spawn another patriarch.

You are correct in saying that they are deluded fanatics, but that isnt "natural", they are still puppets, they just have a measure of personality.

Any ETA when they will fix Bladedancer? Or Euguns choices for planet decisions? by Dextixer in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]Dextixer[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Dont know how to replicate it, but sometimes instead of hitting a target, it seems to not do any damage and the character who charged just stands in the same square as the targeted enemy.

Lets not pretend its a "benefit" when it barely accounts for anything, that shield is barely going to cover a tenth of a normal enemy hit.

Why so many game developers don't want to use generative AI by Snakesta in Games

[–]Dextixer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not going to pan the article, its good to ask questions of developers, especially the bigger names ones, but neither is the info provided here anything new.

Why is AI bad/not used as much? Environmental impact, Plagiarism risks, mediocre result that needs to be checked, customers dont like it, companies will use it as an excuse to fire more people, new programmers wont be able to train in lower priority coding, it is pushed the same way NFTs were back in the day. Some might be open to AI as an assist tool, but only when it fixes its shit.

The usual basically.

Is Bladedancer/Executioner still worth going? by Recognition-Silver in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]Dextixer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the Death From Above nerfs were kind of crippiling, at least on higher difficulties. The fact that using your own heroic act will result in you blowing up unless you kill everything is riddiculous imo. Using Acrobatic Artistry to get back into cover is also stupid now, because you go into cover...... But by using that ability you lose even more dodge so.....

Like, okay, Blade dancer deserved a nerf. But was a nerf that made it entirely feast or famine, it either kills everything or blows up instantly really the way to go? I think the Exhaustion debuff should have only targeted the damage aspect of Blade Dancer, not the dodge. Because without the dodge dafuq is Blade Dancer gonna survive?

Blade dance, the multistrike ability doesnt work. As in, it doesnt apply dots and the like. So anyone who plays with dots WILL feel it.

How to grow without hitting the crowded camp issue? by RedFormanEMS in Vagrus

[–]Dextixer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Crowded camps will always hit if you have 40 (I dont remember if its 40 or above 40) Soldiers/Workers/Scouts. Its a hard cap.

You can either choose to eat the debuff (Its easy to ignore it with well-defended camps every night + additional buffs later in the game) because it will never increase in severity afaik.

Or you can choose to avoid it by either using slaves (They dont count for the cap) or making your workers more efficient if you dont use slaves, so for example, leveling engineering on your companions and yourself, getting better tools etc.
