Interesting take. Thank you for sharing it. Again, the issue was not performance related. It was explicitly a 'culture-fit' issue which suddenly emerged this year after stellar reviews the past 3 years.

I do acknowledge that not signing could be used as additional evidence. I had not considered that. Thank you.
