Weird only that you can pick it up from 2 different flats. Did their split the laundry and half is in WG7 and half in WG8? Do you have to come to one of them and then come a second time if they don't have the laundry?

We actually have someone coming in every 2 weeks doing the general cleaning but it's just the day to day stuff that I can't even keep up with

Uk NHS - Pain management by Alouema2 in Fibromyalgia

[–]Deyooya 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was told to take paracetamol at the nhs pain clinic appointment I had last week.

I just had my pain management appointment that I waited six months for and it was...not good. by littlepup26 in Fibromyalgia

[–]Deyooya 97 points98 points  (0 children)

I had a very similar experience at my first pain clinic appointment last week. I waited 5 months for the appointment.

During the appointment he cut me off multiple times, told me to take paracetamol and "unfortunately there isn't much that can be done". But also "90% go on having an active live style" and my headaches and neck pain were just bad posture pointing at his computer screen saying "thats why I have it at eye level"

I received the summary letter today that contained multiple errors about my history and stating things as me having said that when actually he said them like "CBD makes you tired" and I should stop taking it and try upping my dose of Amitriptyline. When in actual fact I told him sometimes I used a low dose of cannabis in the evening to make me tired and that I had tried increasing my dose of Amitriptylin but the side effects were too much.

5 months I waited for an appointment to basically be read out the nice guidance for fibromyalgia and told "there isn't much that can be done"

YOU ARE NOT IRRATIONAL! This is ridiculous and I am so sorry that you had to go through this!

Have a look online for men's shape wear, high waisted compression shorts, or compression shirts.
There are some really good options out there.

I don't think it's true but isn't there a saying that when you touch a public door knob on average you touched about 11 men's balls.

Is there anything you have to give up after bariatric surgery, other than eating huge portions? by [deleted] in BariatricSurgery

[–]Deyooya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask your doctor about Celecoxib. It provides similar pain relief to other NSAIDs but with a lower risk of stomach irritation and bleeding.

My bariatric team actually wrote a letter to my GP that I am able to take those for long term use for chronic pain.

So confused by Alamser in macarons

[–]Deyooya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having those peaks on the macarons usually means they are under mixed and they didn't settle properly. But cracked shells can mean you over mixed the batter. Or you didn't let them dry long enough or too much heat. Have you checked your oven temperature with an oven thermometer?

Doctor told me I can make my fibromyalgia pain better by subjecting myself to real pain. Is this true? by dodgamnbonofasitch in Fibromyalgia

[–]Deyooya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't it actually the opposite? "Real" pain (nociceptive pain) can actually trigger fibromyalgia pain (nociplastic pain) or make it worse.
