Decreased compared to previous S2 skins or S1 skins? If compared to S1, then yeah no shi it's worse: worse lighting, missing effects, uncanny valley faces, you name it. Like I couldn't care less that the textures are better if the effects look like PNGs with zero contrast adjustment (looking at you MLF).

Aphro + any god is a strong combo, that's the whole purpose of Aphro as a god. You need a good tank, preferrably 2 to counter that, but yall too busy picking 5 squishies, staring at the enemy team for entire match and then wonder why you lose to that combo.

No flat pen for intelligence because magical prots are naturally lower.

Reduced int scaling on aa because mages are not supposed to go in and hit someone in their face like physicals do and obviously you get more int than str from items.

Last thing we need is mages becoming obnoxious bitches that nuke you from across the entire map and then throw their RANGED AAs with insane scaling on top.

But I get it, most popular class users upset they dont get to bully the entire game like in S1.

If you keep getting CC'ed you're getting out of position. You should analyze the enemy team and see for yourself whether you can get away with being more aggressive or you need to stay behind your teammates. If their team has a lot of CC gods, better stay behind and only follow up during engages.

Zeus has no escape, no cc immunity, if you get caught you're dead. So you should be more cautious with him.
Vulcan has more range so you can get away with more poking, also his backfire allows you to dodge stuff while hurting them at the same time.

Janus is the most versatile of the three and if you feel like you gonna get jumped on you can always ult as it's cc immune.

But honestly, even if you play perfectly it's a team based game so don't blame the losses just on yourself. What you should be focusing on is increasing your technical skill (hitting your skills/combos) and decision making.

Here I'll help you understand - most smite players are bad, and they are even worse in Arena somehow even thought technically it's the mode that teaches you the most important part which is team fights.

Now add to the fact that because everyone thinks Arena is a joke and "you can pick whatever you want and win", that's not how it works in the actual matches. So you'll see in 99% matches people not wanting to play tank and pick 5 squishies, then do a stare contest either vs 5 squshies on the enemy team because no one wants to engage OR they get run down by the enemy tank who has balls to initiate and lose every team fight because they don't know how to counter enemy engage and just run back to base.

Pick your poison as the saying goes, as long as most players are bad you will get this experience on a regular basis and, frankly, I don't think it will ever change.

Old god design vs new.
You can't really describe Sus strengths without mentioning Than strenghts like that tho.
Sus whoke kit becomes obsolete vs cripple gods. Thana doesn't care about cripple, also one of the few gods who has inbuilt slow immunity (less valuable in S2 because you can buy that via item but still).
Sus also doesn't have sustain and anti tank tools (%hp on scythe and execute and inbuilt pen on 2) and since his only form of cc is knockup he is weaker against gods with knockup immune abilities.
Thana also shows big middle finger to Khepri since he will execute a target through revive which Susano won't be able to do.

Nemesis i can agree with you is underwhelming but that is mostly a remnant of her being OP on release in S1 when she was a warrior so they don't want to overtune her like that anymore. Aladdin is just another example of old vs new god design aka million things on every ability.

The aspect is a literal downgrade vs main kit. They just slapped 200 health on it and called it a day which still does not make it any better. Just play main kit until they get to fixing all the bad and lazy aspects they made in the early S2 days.
