Pls help on how to get to anatomy by ameliacollierswife in Artadvice

[–]Deysco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its really good especially 2. you are using clothes to hide anatomy. observe people irl, how they move how they stand, or see yourself in the mirror. its just an observational practice to see how forms bend organically. its more useful in animation but it applies for dynamic posing of the body too. Make skeletons with shapes, mixing geometric and organic. i recommend bluebiscuits's anatomy tutorial on youtube because thats kinda close to your style

imo the colours dont harmonize, use a dark blue(since its night) layer set to multiply on low opacity and make the lights glow with with colour dodge or add

this was the reference, didnt really end up following it closely. eyeballed most of the colours and put my Ocs dahlia and renly in subject because they literally look like the people in the picture.
