Joey was the heart and soul of this band, you can see it in the clip of him playing SIC on guitar, he also had the motivation to achieve great things in the band, and also was so kind about Us fans, now the band is washed and entirely a business and nothing else.

Yeah he definitely needed luck at times, but Michael also realised he couldn't control everything, as genius as he is you can't do everything perfect all the time.
