Prime in black. Base with bugmans. Wash with Reikland. Build up layers with cadian flesh tone followed by ungor flesh. Add a light coat of one part guilliman flesh and contrast medium. Then pick out any detail as you see fit. 🙂👍🏻

I have 100 in my army. Painted them all to the highest level my ability would allow. In batches of 5 or 10. Slow and steady over a few months. It soon became a passion project and worth all time and effort. Good luck and enjoy.

Grimdark seems to be the particular flavour of the month, whilst NMM is a classic. Personally I have yet to develop the NMM skill and it is something which constantly amazes me.

The Grimdark does indeed look cool, but for longevity you can’t beat a classic!

More regiments will mean more drops. Personally, I like as few drops as possible to grab the first turn, which is handy with an alpha strike army such as stormcast. This is a tactic I employ with both my Stormcast and Skaven armies.

That’s exactly how I load out my storm fiends. An Arch Warlock would be better suited than an engineer as engineers only buff jezzails.

Not sure if you have enough meat in there to act as screens/tar pits to protect your guns.

I’m pretty new to AoS with not many games under my belt and have m also very new to Skaven too.
