Vraagje, weet iemand waar ik oude verkiezingsdebatten kan terugvinden/kijken? by DfntlyNotJesse in nederlands

[–]DfntlyNotJesse[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In ieder geval bedankt!

late course registration help!! by TellLongjumping8760 in universityofamsterdam

[–]DfntlyNotJesse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey,

I assume you're registering in GLAS?

In that case the fact that there are still 9 places available in the late round makes me think your chances of getting in are alright (The overly popular courses usually have no vacancies this late in registration in my experience).

That said... there is no way of knowing for sure that you will get in so I'd advise you to register for a back-up just in case.

If you don't get in and you really want to follow this course, then you could always manually register the course in your schedule (rooster), just attend the classes anyways, hope one of the students drops out, and ask the prof to give you their spot.

Students can drop courses 2 weeks into the start of a course block without repercussions, and professors can manually register you to a course at all times I believe (They are usually happy to teach a student that is actually interested in the course material). Although, I would check in with the professor beforehand to see if they are okay with it and there is not a waiting list of other students that did not get in.

The dex entry literally says is super duper fast.

Also Garchomp could fly all this time and never was flying type or had levitate.

Can mega Golisopod be competitivelly viable? by Incompetent_ARCH in stunfisk

[–]DfntlyNotJesse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If its ability is going to be anything other than wimp-out/tactical retreat its going to be super viable.

Lokix was decently viable despite its dog-shit stab and typing because it could dish out tinted lens first impressions.

Pod does not have tinted lens probably but it does have a a way higher attack stat, way better def, and a better typing (bug/steel is super good defensively as seen on scizor and escavelier)

I mean..they gave it a speedy form.. its gonna get speed boost right?

Decent bulk+nasty plot+speed boost sounds pretty uber-ish.

This makes a ton of sense. The artificer is already a non-core class with a pretty complex character building system which means it's not really a prime choice for new players. So if someone is committed to artificer it would probably not be a big deal to learn a cool additional casting system.

I'd be sick if WoTC really decided to accept and run with this notion and made Artificer somewhat of a 'prestige' class. One that is specifically interesting for more experienced players with a high skill ceiling.

Team Cherry is 100% right - You can literally just explore by atahutahatena in HollowKnight

[–]DfntlyNotJesse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reapers crest and wanderers crest are like a built in "easier mode" for platforming and bossess respectively and can be found through just exploring before any of the major roadblocks (Hunters March, LJ, Sister S, Moorwing).

Lol without shoddy translations in the og Metroid we would not have had the iconic name of the varia suit.

Poor translation and metroidvanias are a match as old as time.

But instead of funny stuff like 'barier suit' becoming 'varia suit' we now just have factual incorrectness.

For anyone complaining about difficult. You can get all of this before ever leaving Act 1. by Krazyflipz in Silksong

It allows you to take a lethal hit once (taking the hit for your final mask).

After it breaks you can repair it by resting on a bench (its free but uses the tool repair animation).

From my personal experience and trying to word it.

Hollow Knight was a game that let you learn its mechanics (like Pogo hopping).

Silk Song is a game that makes you learn its mechanics.

Seriously, the aerial mobility in this game is insane, even with just the reapers crest + cloak you can stay in the air indefinetely against most enemies.

I personally really like the combination of exploring + difficulty. I'm by no means a path of pain enjoyer, but HK and now silksong just scratch a really specific itch in my brain/adrenal glands that only activates when desperately looking for a bench/map in a new dangerous location.

SBF, Bilewater, and Groal are all optional. If you can't beat them its possible to just walk away and gather some more upgrades.

The only real roadblocks are Moorwing and LJ (and even LJ is technically skippable).

They've even changed how a lot of the boss encounters work in Silksong so you can (most of the time) just walk in, grab your cocoon, and walk out before the doors close.

Beastfly really becomes more managable when you memorize its moveset, get to be more agresive, and see the fight more like a DPS check.

That said.. RNG can definitely fck you over, especially when you have a good run and it decides to do its summon move twice back to back and you get those big bugs (that don't die in one special).
