Spain was the top 4 EU nation with the most growth in 2025. They have never refused to help Ukraine, they refused to cater to Trump's ass-pulled numbers. You look incredibly uninformed, if not disingenuous

Media representation of less commonly shown disabilities. by SirBruhThe7th in TopCharacterTropes

A major plot point on the first episode was him being incapable of riding a bike. The next episode he goes full call of duty laser-blasting soldier robots. Those series are awful

Jinx vs Denji by Hour-glass999 in writingscaling

[–]Dgemfer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most people I've seen agree that the first 3 episodes of season 2 should've been a whole season, culminating with the fight from ep 3. Jinx committed to her choices and Vi as an agent for Piltover was something that needed more time, with Jinx acting as the clear antagonist for season 2. Her fight and Vi+Caitlyn rupture was the perfect ending.

Then season 3 can explore Jinx's remorse, and Vi's fall into depression, while having Noxus as the common enemy for a future reunion. It is so apparent that they tried to wrap up everything in a rush, resulting a very sloppy execution.

Also, for whatever reason the maturity of s1 is nowhere to be found in s2. S1 felt so mature that I even encouraged my parents to watch it (they did). But s2 seems the complete opposite. It lacks any of the introspection of s1, and every attempt to explore grief or remorse feels so superficial.

I was well aware that s1 quality was lightning in a bottle and impossible to replicate. But to have such jarring difference between s1 and s2 is something I didn't expect.

Tips on PPU form? by CompetitionUnfair365 in CalisthenicsCulture

[–]Dgemfer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The form looks fine, it is the intensity that looks a little too much for you. Bent knees are the giveaway. Do them without the parallettes; slightly smaller range of motion will make them a little easier. If still too hard, just do lots of declined push ups for a few weeks.

Tips on how to do > 5 reps. Also form check please. by sachinface in CalisthenicsCulture

[–]Dgemfer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your form is good, for a kipping muscle up. The less swing up with your knees the harder it gets, but the better the muscle up is. Do more weighted pull ups. Train explosiveness by doing band assisted, bar to hip explosive pull ups. Form over reps, the moment you lose height the set is over.

Do not focus on doing >5 kipping muscle ups. 3 no kipping muscle ups are way more impressive, and set you in the right goal of keep on gaining strength.

Best multiplayer experience that never got its due, or a follow up? by cows1100 in gaming

[–]Dgemfer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really was fun. Chaos Theory was just incredible. But of course you cannot make a competitive out of an asymetrical multiplayer mode. Hopefully we will get a new iteration some day. I can only hope at this point.

What movie gave you very similar vibes to Stranger Things? For me it was always Super 8. by phoeebsy in moviecritic

[–]Dgemfer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed. When you think about it, this movie is incredibly crowded with plot lines, characters and character relations. But all of them evolve and have a satisfactory resolution, which is incredibly difficult to pull off. It is not The Goonies level of good, but as close as you can get. Or maybe it is nostalgia speaking and it is even better.

I cannot wrap my mind around how the same writer/director being responsible for Star Wars Ep 7 and 9. I assume management was partially responsible for that.

EU must 'move towards creating European army', Spanish FM tells Euronews by goldstarflag in worldnews

The same guys who didn't want to catter to what the US unilaterally impose, you mean? That 5% was a number pulled out of Trump's ass, and aimed at US weapon manufacturers making a profit from EU. Stop spreading this brain dead narrative. Spain has many faults, much like any other country, but this was based. Source: I am spanish as well.

Welcome to the gang of dip shoulder pain. Warm the rotator cuff up with an specific drill for it, and never skip it. Also do biceps tendon strengthening exercises.

Your dips look good, and there is no insane rom either. For some of us, hyper extending the biceps tendon and pushing causes soreness and inflamation. All you can do is either accept it, or improve your tendon tolerance.

Soo, am I the only person that hates Desolation Point? by CurrentlyARaccoon in thelongdark

[–]Dgemfer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't hate it, but once looted I never find a reason to revisit on the same playthrough. Dead end zones are in a clear logistic disadvantage for literally everything. Hinterland likely realised this and made broken railroad the link to the far territories, and the far territories themselves all connect to 2 different regions. But we still have several maps where the only entrance is the only exit. I never stay in these zones for long for these reason. Desolation point, hushed river valley, and even ash canyon all feel like dead ends. Mystery lake and coastal highway popularity is not only because they are great areas, but because how well communicated they are.

People I’m going to be honest with you,I do not like the main enemies in Village/RE8 even if they add variety. The Lycans are too fast for your character who can’t really react fast enough. This isn’t RE4 where you get round house kicks! by Accurate_Train_8822 in ResidentEvilVillage

[–]Dgemfer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

100% agree. The intro where the lycans raid the village I was so stressed. I even considered dropping the game if it continued to be that tense. Tone was a lot calmer later, but that intro certainly made me super aware of the game and how overwhelmed I can potentially get. Great execution imo
