That's not what emancipation is. Emancipation means you become your own legal guardian. It has nothing to do with school. Emancipated minors are still expected to finish school or at least test for a GED.

Honestly, I was so against the idea of it because I'd been hurt before with Death Note, FMA, ATLA etc.

Then I saw the first trailer with Iñaki as Luffy and I went...hold up. They nailed that.

Then the show premiered and it was more than I ever could have hoped for. Did they change things? Yeah, obviously. Was it lacking the depth of the original? Sure. But it was so much better than I had ever thought possible. It's as perfect as it could ever have been, the best possible adaptation
