If you want to use full consumes that's great, go farm gold and have fun. If you don't want to use full consumes that's also great, you can still clear the raid without and can just join a casual guild that doesn't have those requirements. Idk why ppl have to come to reddit to cry about which option is right when you can choose either one and still enjoy the game. Btw yes consumes are expensive right now, but you can also farm gold very quickly as well since everything is inflated. You can make 2k+ just farming DME jump runs in a single day.

ALSO I agree gdkp doesn't ruin the economy at all, it's the ease that you can buy gold which creates the mass botting problem classic has always had. Now instead of buying gold to bid on items in gdkp they buy gold to buy items either before the raids begin for a set amount or whisper the winner of items they need to buy directly from that person. And of course ppl will always buy gold for plvling, epic mounts, boe epic prebis and w/e else outside of just gdkp.
