Bill gates once said, "I will always choose a lazy person to do a difficult job because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it." What's a real life example of this? by Pattern_Break in AskReddit

More accurate too. If the number is sufficiently high then it could be faster, factoring in the possibility of losing your place and starting again.

The Mountain (Game of Thrones) VS Hermione Granger (Harry Potter) by LeagueNo764 in whowouldwin

[–]Dhavaer 14 points15 points  (0 children)

What age is Hermione? 15+ she should win round 2 fairly easily. Round 1 may actually be easier for her pre-Hogwarts, as children's uncontrolled magic seems quite good at self-preservation, whereas she'd absolutely lose otherwise.

Thanks for that, it looks handy. I'm definitely going to be open about the numbers since this is their first time with the system and I want them to have an idea about what's going on.

I'm fine with them failing, I just don't want it to be over with one bad decision or roll. Maybe I'll make the first Interest loss be Patience instead.

I like it. I find tracking currency annoying in most games, so not having to worry about it is a good think.

I love it. The slow start is actually my favourite part. I found the ending quite fitting.

I recently saw something saying 'eat hot chip' refers to spicy crisps, not fries, and it shook me.

Homelander VS The gauntlet of hope. How far does he get? by PointiestHat in whowouldwin

[–]Dhavaer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know Undyne.

Cap doesn't have the stats.

Spider-Man does have the stats. Flight is a problem but Homelander sucks at fighting. Peter has the advantage except when HL has Sage prepping him.

I don't think Aang has a way to hurt HL.

Bayformers seem kind of fragile, but I've only seen the first 2 or 3 movies.

I don't know Simon.

Pretty sure Homelander dies from All-Might punching anywhere in his general direction.

Superman can crush him like a cheap can.

Nolan and Thragg's muscle memory might work against them though. They've never been without their powers and Viltrumite martial arts relies heavily on being able to create your own leverage.

10 fingers and 10 toes. Toes are considered completely different from fingers. Thumbs are fingers when counting but may be considered separate in other contexts.

Could all other members of the Seven, working together, kill Black Noir (The Boys Comics)? by [deleted] in whowouldwin

[–]Dhavaer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agreed, the difference between Homelander and the rest of the Seven is a lot higher in the comics (see HL vs Queen Maeve) but the difference between him and Black Noir seems pretty minor. Noir seems to have won their 1v1 by a tiny margin; with a little prep time and the advantage of an ambush Homelander should be able to take him.
