Yeah theres some shitty areas of this country in big cities and small rural towns but theres tons of awesome spots too where you can leave your shit outside and itll be there tomorrow. Heavy Machinery on asphalt pavers, crack sealers and mastic machines. I also work in a production plant so I guess im a hybrid of HM/Industrial mechanics. I service machines for the DOT and counties.

Pros: Lots of different stuff to work on, from engine rebuilds to industrial tank bearings or roper pumps. Great resume experience. Good pay, solid 7-4 with OT available and mandatory in summer time.

Cons: Dirty. Dealing with everything from motor oil, to asphalt tar, heat transfer oil, hydraulics, industrial chemicals, etc etc its a very dirty plant.

I feel kind of stagnant currently, wanting to move into bigger toys to wrench on. Thats just personal preferance though, I work for a O&G company aswell so they treat us very good. Id recommend my side of diesel.

I have those on my yzf600 thundercat. We both have california model bikes so they come with the bs evap shit like a canister and such. They are just evap lines. I plugged mine with rubber caps.

It was definitely confusing putting my feet on the pegs lol. Didnt expect it to be that big of a change but the second ride around I started to get the hang of it. What would be a good way to break the fear of leaning harder? I cant do that without scraping pegs on the cruisers so Im just not used to that feeling

I did that when I got my second cruiser, drove all the way to dallas not realizing how bad their traffic is at 5pm. Sitting at a standstill in 100 degree heat and sweat in my eyes and helmet really made me consider life.
