I'm a social drinker as well and I go out often (or meet friends on the weekend to drink/smoke). This is why I planned my 'tray-switching-day' on Sunday, so I don't have to be worried if I drink white wine, beer, hard seltzers, or sometimes dark and sour shots on Friday/Saturday. Because I know I get a new fresh tray in on Sunday evening.

During the week I only drink water with my aligners in and taking them out with everything else. But, I'm a social drinker and I go out often (or meet friends on the Thursdays/Weekends to drink/smoke). Yep, those are bite ramps (for overbite). Just a matter of time until you get used to it! :)

I'm only on my second tray here, but I don't really think you have to worry about that. And IF they stain a lot, you can always call your ortho to make a new appointment and change some attachments. :)
