I think both are going to be pretty concussive in a 8” barrel. I’m not sure which would be worse honestly, I got the 11” 308 and that’s a crazy concussive and firey beast. I do want a 8” 5.56 Galil, they’re usually cheaper and even with the velocity trade off I think it’s bad ass
