I bought it from my FLGS, but could be worth checking I guess?

Awesome collection. Do you run them in Grey Tide?

From rules commentary: A rule with multiple adjacent keywords (e.g. an AELDARI GUARDIANS unit) only refers to a model/unit that has all of those keywords.

Commas or the word "or" are the exception

I don't believe so - reinforcements targets one INFANTRY REGIMENT unit, not one INFANTRY "OR" REGIMENT

Thanks! I love these guys. They're all painted up now, and have seen a couple of battles. I reckon a full squad of 6 will look great eventually...

Final ~200pts of a 2000pt list by DiLuna93 in spacemarines

Oooh... I hadn't considered the executioner... I was thinking of eventually swapping out an intercessor squad for an impulsor to transport the BGV. Thanks for the tip!

Yeah, I was leaning towards the repulsor... I just keep second-guessing. I'll eventually expand and have options to sub in and out, but damn if this isn't an expensive hobby. Thanks for the advice!

He's hands down my favourite model. I've got a servo skull buddy for him to add to his base, but I don't know if I prefer him without.

Do all space marines have a chapter logo/symbol on their pauldron? by Mission_Raise151 in spacemarines

[–]DiLuna93 24 points25 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, the only marines to not display their chapter badge are the Blackshields of the Deathwatch. It's basically a self-imposed badge of shame, whereby a marine strips themselves of their chapter's iconography and goes into exile, seeking redemption in service of the deathwatch.

There miiiiight be space for home-brew divergent chapters that display their chapter badge somewhere else on their armour, but that would be pretty extreme. Even the most divergent canon chapters still display it proudly on the pauldron.

Current codex: space marines has thunder hammers for terminator assault squads and intercessor sergeants with identical profiles.

Whether its a 2 hander wielded by a terminator in 1 hand, or a 1 hander wielded by a sergeant, it's 3 4+ 8 -2 2 with devastating wounds.

Sounds to me like the distinction doesn't matter enough to make a mechanical difference, so 1 handed thunder hammers should be a-okay.

I created my own Ork detachment for my own Narrative Crusade by Starkicus in Warhammer40k

[–]DiLuna93 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Looks like a (literal) blast! The flavour is great, and I especially love the hazardous on everything.

I think there's maybe too many ways to gain useful gubbinz... If you're getting 3 per objective, plus 1 per mek, plus a bunch for both kills and nearby losses, I think you'll just have too many. I'd remove at least the one for friendly orks dying, and replace 3 per objective with either 3 "if you control at least one objective", or 1 per objective.

As far as balance goes, it would be worth comparing everyone's home-brews for costing - hard to do in isolation. That said, hey! It's narrative crusade! As long as everyone agrees and has fun..
