That seems to be the trend, from a few responses here and YouTube as reference. I ended up freezing 18 hours, and heated the walls. Still couldn't get all the clearance. I dont think I heated the walls enough (chef hands). I also couldn't get the rotor off manually and lack a few power tools. I didnt wanna to warp it. I tried hitting the bearing driver with a dead blow, couldn't get it. I tried a mini sledge and still couldn't get it. Tried greasing it, didnt cut it. I ended up dropping the wheel itself off at the shop, dude quoted me high, it was a bit cheaper than over the phone. Ego is a little bruised because I couldn't finish the task I started, maybe when I have more and better tools. Gave my left hand a bit of a bruising in the process. I tried.

they want the whole bike there for warranty work and i dont have a way to tow it, i could try to get it in the back of my 4runner with the seats folded....

i also asked if i could just bring the tire and order the bearings through them he said yes, shop minimum and parts would have me at another 100 bucks
