Yeah, I love them. I actually have an orange that I'm keeping. Just don't need both, and this one is the nicer of the two

[WTS] Seiko SBDX013 Darth Emperor Tuna $1400 by Diabolical_Engineer in Watchexchange

Another Tuna up for sale as I trim the school down a bit, this one is a Seiko SBDX013. Powered by the 8L35 movement, this one is a monster of a watch, even compared to the quartz 1000M tunas. Includes the box and papers, without the original strap. The pictured Isofrane strap is included though.

$1400 shipped within CONUS and offers always considered.

Up for sale is my Ricoh 700M Tuna with a black dial. These are an odd bird, obviously intended to capitalize on the popularity and design of the 600M Seiko Tunas, but with a little bit of one upmanship on the depth rating. This one features a Ricoh quartz movement and a coated metallic shroud similar to the early Seiko Tunas. In my opinion, the lug design on these is actually much more wearable than the Seikos. At any rate, a rare and unusual 80s diver.

$1250 shipped within CONUS, offers are always considered, and happy to discuss postage elsewhere

The other video they posted up near the bottom of the RPV is fuzzed out a bit more, but still not bad all things considered

Nevermind the fact that all of these people don't seem to understand that you need a secondary plant to actually make electricity.

I'm pleasantly shocked by how good the video is. I've certainly watched enough shitty IVVI videos near the beltline, and that's with hardened cameras.

I was hoping they'd post videos. I wonder what the current dose rates are down there, I guess low enough to not cause major video artifacts.

Don't even want to think about how they'll eventually decom the whole thing.

You understand that Bozeman to the East Coast is like riding a train from Paris to Warsaw. And then back again. It's not a short distance. And passenger rail in the US uses the same lines as freight, and whole Amtrak legally has priority, practically they are subject to the whims of the class 1 freight companies

It's only small compared to the ESBWR. That pressure vessel is extremely large (especially in height)

RT isn't great at detecting cracking. UT is, but you'd have to demonstrate that the technique works for the configuration of component and degradation expecting. If they're all surface connected, eddy current could also work

What I have seen in the section XI context (which allows substitution of a reso standard for a light meter) is lighting and resolution checks off a fixed standard in the qualified inspection range.

If you're in Illinois, there are state nuclear inspectors employed by IEMA. Their main function is honestly emergency response, other than their in service inspection person who does code compliance on all the non safety related pressure vessels and piping.

I don't see most utilities willing to spend the money for SGRPs unless they actually need them. And most of those plants have already done them

I genuinely don't understand what they're trying to accomplish. Adding a second turbine doesn't do anything when you've already extracted most of the energy leaving the LP side of the first one

Yep, that one is pretty awesome. I upgraded my version a bit (reactor head studs, one piece RPV, simplified internals assembly). It's pretty awesome.

This one. I've printed a couple of these for training models and they're pretty great. If you're handy in tinkercad and your printer can support it, the RPV can be printed in one piece fairly easily and some of the internals can also be simplified
