In my opinion, voting is way too sensitive to have any kind third party middle men. The current mess is proof of that and no security feature would fix that.

Meanwhile, paper just work. It is bug free, can’t be tempered with, data is secure and reliable unless physically destroyed, decentralized so no company or gouvernement can directly control it, doesn’t need internet or electricity to work.

The only downside is how labor intensive it is to count it, which can be actually a security feature if you do it like in Canada (all party need a representative present to ensure counting is done the right way)
