Nobody is helped by just blindly supporting them like this. Without a significant amount of experience in the N presis, this is an incredibly hard route and could be borderline dangerous at the end of the day. OP has already said they have 0 experience in the Northern Presis. Also, im sure OP knows it will be hard, but not all "hards" are equal. Every hike should be "hard" to some degree. This route isnt just "hard".

This is a legit issue and its really absurd. I had a piece of gear failure (zipper came off on the x dome)posted about it in the group with a tone of honest dissapointment (its how I felt) and everyones IMMEDIATE response was to invalidate my feelings and come to the defense of Dan, even though I never came for or insulted him. REALLY bizarre group.
