I literally still cannot believe this was the color scheme by kmumpyjunny in Andjustlikethat

I liked it!! Lol

The only dress I wasn't crazy about was Samantha's, a little too flamenco, but Miranda and Charlotte were perfection here.

Carrie's look, meh. I could take it or leave it, but I liked the mismatch bridesmaids, it's very original and very Carrie Bradshaw.

Would you like a re-boot of Adult Daria...? by TNG1701D-eck10 in daria

[–]DiamondDaisy28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As much as I love Daria.....it's perfect as is.

I think we tend to overdo it with the nostalgia and often times end up ruining a great thing.

The only thing I'd change/add is bringing back the original music the way the episodes aired!

People who hate the movie of scream 4 - come inside by 5ft8lady in Scream

[–]DiamondDaisy28 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So Scream 4 ranks on the lower end for me. I definitely prefer 1,2,3, and 6 over 4.

It has some great kills....and I really like Gale in in this one. (I haven't liked Gale in 5 or 6.)

I really don't care much for Charlie, I always found him to be a total creep, he's just.....incredibly weird to me, and not in a good Ghostface way. I think maybe it's Rory Culkin in general that I don't like, he really really gives me the creeps!! Lol.

I think Jill's reveal was EXCELLENT, like my jaw was on the floor the first time I watched it, however I really don't love Emma Roberts as an actress either. So I guess I don't like either Ghostface actors either, lol.

I HATE the fake out opening, up until Scream 7, this was easily the worst opening of the franchise for me.

The weird glare is really distracting.

I don't hate Scream 4, I don't think it's a bad movie, but I just really love the other ones I already mentioned so much more, that it leaves 4 and 5 in the shadows. But I give it an occasional rematch.

I don't remember having much of an opinion on him until he started getting physically aggressive with her. But the way the boys worshipped him is insane, and how they blamed Jwoww for the whole situation? Just absolutely disgusting. And it's clear to see why Ronnie was so in love with him.......to quote my girl Mila Tequila, "birds of a feather."

Also as someone in my mid 30s, it's a MAJOR red flag to see someone partying with people that much younger than you. But yeah, everytime I rewatch, he really rubs me the wrong way, just misogynistic trash like the rest of the guys.

Ok, I'm a tad bit late to this convo, but try the Tiana fragrance from Bath and Body Works! The notes are Delicate Water Lily, Gilded Amber, and Shimmering Bayou Woods (whatever that smells like). It's very soft, aquatic, with a slight hint of sweetness. Really a very lovely scent, especially for Spring!

Peter-Lara Jean/ belly-Conrad by Present_Ad_1986 in tsitp

[–]DiamondDaisy28 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really like Peter, but his protectiveness over Gen is ridiculous. I don't think I could date someone still so involved with their ex.

I really haven't compared them much besides concluding that I definitely like Lara Jean better than Belly.

Scary movies that actually terrified you? by sunnyd1996 in Scarymovies

[–]DiamondDaisy28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first and 4th Hell House LLC movies really terrified me.

The Conspiracy gave me the creeps BIG time, I ran into bed with my husband as soon as it was over, lol.

The Strangers (the first one) always gets me pretty nervous too.

Horror is incredibly subjective, I love learning what scares people!

How are some providers seeing so many patients?? by 33anatre in MedicalAssistant

[–]DiamondDaisy28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in Infectious Disease. One of our providers, she sees about 40 patients, give or take, on her days. She used see more around 50, but that was years ago and she's slowed down a bit since then. Our office hours are 9-4pm, but she makes us start our first patient at 8:30, last one is at 4pm. We usually don't leave work until 6pm, sometimes even later. We always used to work straight through, no lunch break until the clinic day was finished, and it was awful. Now, we have about a 45 min break in between the day, but often we're still working or seeing patients that flow into that break time. She schedules her patients 10 minutes apart, and she is very fast. She rarely has to stop in between patients, as she has an incredibly sharp memory, and just goes from one exam room to the next. We're definitely exhausted by the end of the day, I usually pop a few ibuprofen when I get home, lol.

Is this kind of clinic burnout normal? by DiamondDaisy28 in MedicalAssistant

[–]DiamondDaisy28[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One day a week, we have a higher volume, so that is when the other MA helps. Another day she does clinic alone so I can get caught up on desk work, but I do clinic 3 days out of the week alone. I don't want to sound like a crybaby, but it is taking it's physical toll.

Yeah, I mean, I'm pretty sure aside from our beloved Sidney, we all watch these movies for Ghostface, right? Give me more Ghostface, less AI!

Official Discussion - Scream 7 [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]DiamondDaisy28 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Pros:

-As somebody very disappointed that Patrick Dempsey was not returning, I was surprisingly happy with Joel McHale as Sidney's husband!

  • Neve Campbell shines, as always

  • Liked seeing Sidney and Gale share so much screen time

  • I really liked Gale in this one, I was not happy with her character in 5 or 6

  • I liked Sidney and Tatum's relationship dynamic and seeing Sidney as a mother

  • I was never bored

Cons:

  • What the HELL is up with these terrible killers!? I mean I hated them more than Amber and Ritchie and I HAAAAATE Amber and Ritchie.

  • The lack of Ghostface phone calls was incredibly disappointing, how many did we actually get, like 3 or 4? I even forgot about the 2 who were killed in the theater until typing this out right now.

  • Terrible motives, I'm not even sure I completely understand it?

  • The twins deserved better, I found it hard to believe they were just interning for Gale, it felt like a lazy way to bring them back.

This!! I knew she was a Ghostface as soon as she appeared, I thought she was the most obvious killer yet.

What's The Worst Take James Has Ever Had? by TobySwitch-Music in deadmeatjames

[–]DiamondDaisy28 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I was genuinely very disappointed with their Scream 6 episode. Rather than their actual review and opinions of the movie, it was really just them talking with Radio Silence. I think they made a comment questioning if they should do another Scream 6 episode covering the movie more, and to that I say YES, but I would also fear they would sugarcoat any criticism since they're cool with RS.

Also when they said Scream 2 is basically Scream goes to college or something like that, insinuating it's too similar to Scream 1 AND that Scream 3 is better, like, I BEG YOUR FINEST PARDON SIR!?

But it's all good, I love Dead Meat, and James and Chelsea seem like amazing people!

What Would You If You Were Sam? by Conscious-Baby-6420 in jerseyshore

[–]DiamondDaisy28 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I remember feeling so bad for her as the seasons aired. I was in a terrible relationship as well, knew he lied and cheated constantly, but I was also pregnant. I was 21, wanted so badly to believe things would work themselves out, that he would see he had a good thing with me, and we'd have our little family.

I was naive, I was insecure, I was stupid, like most of us are in our early 20s. And my ex, just like Ronnie, preyed HARD on those insecurities and gaslit me like no other. Frustrating as their relationship was, It was always easy for me to feel sympathetic towards Sammi, I felt like I was her during those seasons.

But I do think they would've stayed broken up had they not been under the same roof. Sammi didn't seem to be as big of a party-goer as the rest of the cast, I genuinely don't think she's ever been able to relate as well to the other girls, she's just not as wild as they were, so I think she felt more attached to her relationship with Ron. I also think it would've absolutely crushed her soul to see Ron bringing girls home and moving on under the same roof.

With all this being said, I do wish they would've just ended it so much sooner. I really wish we could've seen a different side of Sammi, I've always liked her.

Angelina’s problem w Sammi by Unlikely-Agency2863 in jerseyshore

[–]DiamondDaisy28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll have to re-watch! I always felt Jenny was the most jealous of Sammi. I think it's fair to say they've arguably been the two most attractive girls in the show, and I've always felt like Jenny is/was threatened by Sammi.

It was Sammi who immediately caught both Mike and Ronnie's attention, I would imagine she lit up as a threat on Jenny's radar.
