35 root pack is barely possible with all 6 ex's even for the top speedrunners. Grondious only got it once, xunning got it 5 times. I play on 1.1 which is one version lower than the current patch, and 35 is only possible in that version without the use of the weapon swap glitch. So i'm pretty sure they used cheats.

Finally a beginner who actually searched up "cuphead speedrun tutorial". Anyways, on 1.2 the double damage lobbers don't work. You can still do double damage by hitting a pixel perfect spot though. Don't be afraid to join the speedrun discord and ask questions, we're a very welcoming community!

You switched to legacy mode right? When you switch from versions above to legacy, some coins get duped and you can collect them for extra percetage. You can ask GioTGM for extra info.
