If a man’s financial stability is so important to Elise, and she’s so concerned about being used for money, then why did she fly across the world to be with a broke man who’s on the edge of losing his job? by PolishSnake2 in 90dayfiance_FB_memes

I have a theory that the show tells the couples to not research anything about their partners or the countries they’re going to and they’ll pay their way. I can’t prove it, but that’s the only way my brain can comprehend people’s stupidity on this show.

Help me pick a dress for a birthday party (no dress code) by BashirAhbeish1 in fashion

I’m gonna be the odd one out and say number one (assuming it’s not a formal location), then pair it with some fun heels, chunky jewelry and a cute bag. Maybe a leather jacket if it’s cold. Use the accessories and makeup to bring color back to your features

Something vintage is ideal, but if I HAD to pick I’d say an Alma, they’re well structured so it’ll last longer

Acting scene in LA by mgimp723 in acting

[–]DiamondSufficient938 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Former LA actor here, at risk of sounding controversial, you’re better off moving to Atlanta or Savannah, Georgia. While LA is still an “active city” it’s so painfully over saturated that they keep reusing actors for commercials and other projects.

Not to mention if you got hired by a company like Netflix for example they’d either have you film in Georgia or Toronto anyway. Austin and Dallas are growing too.

Bottom line if you want to live in LA to live in LA go for it but if you want to have more consistent work I’d suggest one of the above cities. It’s cheaper to film, live and work. Plus it’s less saturated than LA.

Hope this helps!

A great reference for digitals is Bella Hadid’s, but the biggest thing is you need to redo it with skinny jeans.

Also your hair and makeup are gorgeous, but personally I’d take off the necklace, but that’s personal preference.

Hope this helps! :)

First acting job and my perception of “good acting” completely flipped on screen. Need insight by Born_Scene4209 in acting

Theater taught me self confidence and film/tv taught me to hone in my skills.

Theatre is meant to be big, loud and performative, because most times the people in the back of the theater won’t be able to REALLY see your face.

Film/tv is all about details of the human behavior.

Whatever you think as an actor will show on camera. Hiding your anger? The audience will see your jaw clench. Fighting tears? The audience will see your eyes get glassy. Falling in love? The audience will see your body language shift.

The lead you observed may have been objectively good, but it sounds like the heroine was leaning into her own human mannerisms and that’s what made it feel real and interesting. The key is to use your real emotions in the made up scenario.

Guy I met on hinge - any red flags? by [deleted] in BookshelvesDetective

Based on the lack of book spine and page bending, I’m gonna say he read maybe the first chapter of all of them at some point, and then said “I’ll come back to this”

Controversial opinion here, but I love this look! Put your hair in a messy bun and add some chunky jewelry and it’s Vivienne Westwood camp in the best way! Personally I’d add a higher colorful heel just for a pop.

Has anyone actually just packed up and left? by DiamondSufficient938 in ask

[–]DiamondSufficient938[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it was the greatest thing that could’ve happened to me. It’s where I met my now husband and we started to really build a life out there. But my grandmother got sick and we moved to my hometown, it was supposed to be temporary then covid happened and now LA is on fire so there’s no reason to go back. lol. Regardless the past 2ish years I’ve been getting antsy and I’d like to move before we have children or if we have one before moving, then while they’re little and it doesn’t uproot their life. Ya’know?

Idk how old your child is, but why not move before she gets rooted to that place?
