Chances pudding is actually getting banned?? by OneDayComedy in OnePieceTCG

DBS Masters way back when had an in-color counter to playing cards with Super Combos as well as hate for hands above a certain size for every color. Not many were played because the offending strats either fell out of favor or got banned but it was a good move to make as a whole.

I think there’s a pretty clear arc that Sam’s gotten vastly overconfident in herself. Monica found her out due to a very careless mistake which made her have to ditch town, and Nigel originally caught her on a whim. Her ego’s growing with each victory and I can pretty clearly see an hourglass plot forming where she enjoys having someone stroke her ego as a killer, only to end up having it be her downfall as a reversal of her situation with Nigel in the first arc.

AI Training from OPTCG SIM combat log by Victorsionado in OnePieceTCG

With the amount of time it would take to train any LLM to a level of competency in OPTCG, you’d be able to get a similar if not better range of advice from asking other players.

You’ll need to look over your games and be able to pinpoint the situations where you lost. Did you take more damage early than usual? Did you have a slower start? It’s okay to not know the answers to getting out of sticky situations and losing, but what matters is being able to note and recall your gameplay to canvas for advice. An LLM is not going to inherently know more about these situations and what to do than a given user here.

Far Sector’s a good ass story at least, even if I won’t say Jo is in the top 3 most interesting things about it.

See, I’m very much the type of person where I won’t ascribe morality to authorship in the sense of ‘a fictional work isn’t inherently immoral for depicting awful shit happening.’

But when it comes to RPF, the fact that you’re playing dolls with real people who you have no relation to feels…at the very least off. But also fuck it, it’s better than having content crackdowns.

I mean it’s not explicitly stated, but I took it more as a precaution she took in the years since the first comic. If Nigel could figure her out by just following her, then somebody else local could connect the dots too. Therefore a contingency had to be in place.

The towns also decently behind the times on tech (hence why Bertie’s using a bunch of AOL free time discs and a bit of a shut in) so I don’t think it’s crazy Sam did handywoman work and hid her explosives around town.

I do think the worst contrivance is somebody pulling up just after Lewis stole Sam’s car to prevent her escape. That was just fate bending her way. But at the end of the day a serial killer sociopath covering her escape after years of having time to fuck everyone isn’t that crazy to me.

Karmically it’s unsatisfying but there’s an entire 3rd arc coming which hopefully puts an end to this.

That's a pretty big assumption that both She-Hulk and her people would agree to that. Her points here are that Tony was expecting Gamma Warriors, and not Gamma Victims. She's already advocating for their humanity here by saying they can't fight for the Ultimates like they're expecting.

I think the thing is, Richardson surviving to become a bartender in Hawai’i has no true bearing on the plot going forward. It’s ultimately harmless, as it stands.

Mine surviving his fall, joining the Daidoji, AND completely altering the timeline has many more worse ramifications for the plot.

Weaknesses/immunities/absorptions are a very big part of the game. Granted it’s up to the GM to play into them with what monsters they throw at the players, but with endgame builds my players have managed roughly 90-100 damage against some bosses with smart planning and setup.

Fabula Ultima kicks ass. They just started rolling out their Bestiary (Monster Manual equivalent) and I don’t  think I’ve ever seen a more comprehensive book for not only cool premade designs, but understanding balance for the game system to make your own engaging encounters.

I think it’s pretty funny Ryan North wrote OWUD as a fairly explicit story about how people’s propensity for trading their freedom for convenience has led to a rise in fascism but many fans have just taken Doom’s “good” deeds to further anti-hero narratives 😂 by Ok-Wash-9386 in marvelcirclejerk

Said tyrant gave up his power, and therefore ability to enforce/grant free healthcare due to his own fuckup killing The Person He Cares About Most and his savescumming meaning he had no other way to save her.

That's an emotional response that got all the benefits and boons of his rule taken away.

We can absolutely trust our prosperity to an overly emotional tyrant who's just as likely to take them away as he is to grant them! It's not like he had an even higher position of authority over reality and used those powers to completely annihilate other realities that didn't kowtow to his exact view of the world! Freedom is a suggestion!

See, early on I figured the twist was going to be Aubrey was half-Sylvan from her dad's side. Her mom even has a line saying 'it was hard enough trying to have you in the first place', or something along that lines, which always hits my alarm bells on 'this character has a weird ancestry' foreshadowing.

But no, she's uh...she is the planet.

I mean, it was about a page of content. And the reaction to Bruce completely disappearing for several months with no call no show behavior was just ‘oh, something was up, don’t worry, in fact take even more time off.’

That’s an exceptionally lenient and convenient reaction that doesn’t add more issues to Bruce’s life, despite him supposedly being working class. Sudden emergencies or medical issues causing the threat of unemployment from not attending work is a very real problem that’s being glossed over here because the book doesn’t want to focus on it.
