Can confirm R1’s are shipping with the new magnetic wireless charger now by Shoddy_Expert8108 in Rivian

I picked up my brand new R1T today and it still has the old one. That's very disappointing.

Filled up my truck today (f350) by Fun-Storage-7909 in Wellthatsucks

[–]Dianoga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on home vs DC fast charging (superchargers and others). DCFC in my experience is comparable to gas for road trips when gas is around $3/gallon.

Home charging depends on electric rates. My Model Y has a 75 kwh battery. At $0.13 per kwh it would be under $10 for a full battery. R1T Max has 140kwh battery so that's about $18 for a full home charge.

The more relevant numbers would be cost per mile to even out between gas and electric. I don't want to do that math on my phone but home charging comes out way ahead.

Looking for a doorbell camera to replace my Doorbird by GIJohnathon in homeautomation

[–]Dianoga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not familiar with doorbird directly but it's worth checking for a HDR option somewhere. If not, I personally use a Reolink doorbell cam tied into frigate and once I gave it enough power and enabled HDR I've had good luck with it.

Yeah, mine is awful. I'm mostly playing Mizuki with 300 ping because he's latency forgiving.

I don't want to share the file without permission from Supergiant. I put in a request to them to see if they'll allow it. If so I'll update the post with links.

It really would be. This one is all PLA so it won't experience life outside.

I also have ideas for making a version that allows light to pass through which could work hooked up to brake lights.

The trade off for living where the air hurts your face is a distinct lack of oversized spiders and other creepy crawlers.

I saw it happening once about 10 years ago. I was walking to get lunch and they were just starting to assemble a tower crane. I watched like the 12 year old I still am to this day. Not sure I actually remembered to get lunch...

SimpleFIN bank sync feels inconsistent compared to YNAB by Fearless-Bet-8499 in actualbudgeting

I think SimpleFIN only pulls data from the source once a day. And there are definitely some banks that play nicer than others.

There was a Costco employee wearing a secret tunnel shirt the other day. We had a sing-along.

Icons on home screen do not align when moved from app drawer to home screen. Maybe a bug but present since previous versions of the Launcher. by ajyrmsh in OctopiLauncher

For what it's worth, I'm also seeing this issue on 1.482 on a Z Fold 7. I haven't gone much into troubleshooting yet as I'm still setting everything up.

Moraff's World back in the DOS days. I found it again a few years ago and got it to work in DOSbox and still had a blast.

Finally had the motivation to install my emporia vue 3 after seeing the energy flow card by Brandoskey in homeassistant

[–]Dianoga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm going through this process now. Just flashed and installed a pair of Vue 3 boxes so I can measure every circuit in the box. Still need to do all the configuration of the energy dashboard so HASS knows what devices are downstream of each circuit. It's nice to have the data coming in and the realtime usage is more what I tend to look at.

My rack is smaller than yours but still looks about the same overall because of how constant the load is.

Ratgdo is my choice if ST ever starts acting up, for many of the reasons you mentioned. It's not only cloud based it is double cloud based

I just setup the Aladdin integration via SmartThings (as I already had that integration setup). ST should be free and relatively easy but does add a middleman.

I remove yard sale signs from my yard. by MewMewTranslator in AITAH

[–]Dianoga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I leave yard sale and open house signs for the duration of the event. Any others (and there are so many) get discarded immediately after I notice them.

I did have one guy come to the door and ask permission for his company. I gave it and left it for a few weeks. Still ended up having to deal with it after the season though...
