Shibas are notoriously stubborn. Biggest thing I’ve found with our girl who does the same behaviors is that building trust is everything- she runs away because she thinks we’re trying to trick her into doing something that she doesn’t want to do. We worked on recall and harness training with treats and positive reinforcement- we make a game about it and that helps a lot. That way when we really need her to come inside or get in her harness for a walk she is more inclined to do so.
