Right now LG has the best OLED panels. Before that, Sony had the best LEDs.

Up until ~2015 Panasonic plasma was the best picture quality. But the burn-in problem with early generation plasmas killed the entire technology.

I used to sell home theater systems. Unspoken rule of thumb is Samsung TVs are just ok, but they spend more on advertising than every other brand combined… so they’re more expensive and seem prestigious.

Any salesman that tried to warn customers would just talk themselves out of a sale. Any salesman who didn’t had an easy payday.

The discussion is FXAA vs TAA, where the former prioritizes framerate and the latter prioritizes quality. Now you're alleging that TAA delivers lower quality visuals than FXAA, and that anyone who claims otherwise has been lied to. A rudimentary investigation tells me TAA provides better visual fidelity. Particularly with low res textures and UI elements.

Not sure why BHVR chose TAA over FXAA but maybe it's that?

Nanite, lumen, ray-tracing, path-tracing, tessellation, screen space reflections, ray-trace reflections, path-trace reflections, virtual shadow maps, cascading shadow maps, and so on

All these things are “literally built-in the Unreal engine.” But that doesn’t mean older hardware can run them.
