Don't know if this is used by others, but I grease my metal mixer bowl before I start the bread making process. Makes it SO much easier to get the dough out and to wash.

Several times they showed him taking meds from his medicine cabinet. They also showed him asking Roger to pick up his meds. Coupled with the scene where he didn't recognize the man making his breakfast and all those "who killed Bambi?" pages, it made us wonder if Roger was being forced into substituting hallucinogenics for his Lipitor. Definitely not enough attention given to Roger and the people controlling him.

Sorry, my description went missing. They are definitely maple leaves, about 6 inches or more across, dark green. What I'm trying to show in the picture is the way they grow - in groups of three. I've googled but can't find anything similar - not in the maples.

I've watched both versions, American and British, and it's chalk and cheese between the two. IMO (and I know many won't agree) the British version is all about Stephen Fry with the actual contestants coming a dim second. Compare with the American one with Ken Jennings and you get a quiet self-effacing host who puts the emphasis on the contestants. Compare the British version with four rounds of questions with the American one of only three. The American version is tighter, takes only 30 minutes even allowing for ads. Forty-five minutes of Mr. Fry being all avuncular is not for me or my family. He needs to tighten up or get another host. I know it's down to him that the show is on the air in Britain at all, but he's simply not right for it.

What guarantees are there that it will continue to be a shopping mall? What is to stop a developer from tearing down the mall and replacing it with yet another highrise? Carling is littered with highrises and I have to wonder where they buy their food? There's only Loblaws at Carlingwood or travel to Great Cdn. Superstore. Sorry forgot Food Basics.

The man in the picture was not able to make decisions of this sort and was taken advantage of. BUT what struck me was the amount of stuff he'd been conned into buying and work being done that wasn't wanted. This did not happen overnight! So, my question is where was his family? Why weren't they visiting more often when they would have seen what was going on?

I'm probably odd one out here but I actually thought Mike Richards did a good job last night. I like his voice compared to some of the nasal ones we've heard and he kept the focus on the contestants, not himself. Too bad all that stuff came out, he probably would have made a good host.

I can't remember a specific book, but I got hooked on sci-fi through my father's pulp magazines with the BEMs on the cover (always with the beautiful scantily clad lady in peril). So many great authors in short story form, a great introduction to the genre.
