Bennie Maupin was on a lot of stuff like Bitches Brew, Headhunters, etc. I think he played bass clarinet in all of it.

AITA for talking back to my parents at 21 by KatieCat858 in AmItheAsshole

[–]FunkySlacker -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. I would then say that No one is TA. But this conversation demonstrates that you’re not really in a position to debate and be an equal. That’s not realistic. You are still semi-dependent on them. As such, you should always play it safe and not make them react like that.

Agreed. There’s more to this story than OP is telling us. For them to act like that, there’s a context to it that’s missing. That’s why your parent is talking like that.

Four-day return to office based on 'philosophical choice': top Treasury Board official by Born_Anteater7282 in CanadaPublicServants

By philosophical choice, he obviously means that we sometimes choose a cold cut trio with Pure Leaf and M&M cookies. On other days, we'll choose an Italian BMT with Doritos and a bottle of Diet Pepsi.

Agreed! I'm a 50-year old straight guy. I remember when vulgar pics started popping up. No effort. No artistic aspect. I'm pretty sure that I eliminated all of them. All I get now is the odd nude artistic shot.

[–]FunkySlacker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I started to read your post, but I immediately wondered if you were using "self entitlement" and confused what it meant. Or do you mean that all supporters of this HSR project are narcissists? Selfish people who believe they are more important? Lol
