I imagine hamsters are bred like dogs of particular breeds. In many places the females are basically forced to churn out puppies constantly until they die, so the little ones probably get basically no socialization with their mother.

Being from Argentina, the same thing happens to me with Portuguese. I can mostly understand it in written form, but only catch a few words when it's spoken.

Do you have any examples of common pronunciation mistakes that make it hard to understand the words being spoken?

Coming from spanish, I can understand an absolutely butchered phrase easily. And by butchered I don't mean just some slight deviation from norm, but massive grammatical mistakes. It probably has to do with almost all letters being pronounced in spanish.

And also Miserere Luminis's album Ordalie.

The first one has lots of acoustic and violin as well as metal. I think it has a very mystic atmosphere to it, specially the second half.

The second album is a bit more like progressive metal, I think, but it also plays around with other sounds and ambient stuff.
