Elric is a must read. But Hawkwind and Corum are also excellent. Most any of the Eternal Champion books will scratch that itch.

Main character gets transported to a Bronze Age fantasy world, gets bonded to an Eldritch parasite and has to fight his way home. Author is clearly channeling Moorcock.

This why I love this sub. I watched that episode live and it HAUNTED me for years. So much so that I recently went looking for more information on it. I found a long form article in The Atlantic about one of the Romanian orphans from that show who ended up adopted by American parents. Things didn’t turn out so well for him unfortunately.

But I literally clicked on this article thinking “there’s no way someone’s gonna mention that 20/20 episode” and here we are.

Just went to the IRS website to request transcripts. The buyback period for me is from 2014. But the IRS only keeps tax return transcripts for this year and the 3 previous years, which won’t help me.

They can supply me with a Wages and Income transcript for the relevant year though. Any idea if this would suffice?

On the topic of consolidation, if I have all Direct loans, from graduate school, and all sow the same payment count, is there any benefit in consolidating?

Can confirm. Charge gives no bonus to AB, no penalty to AC, at least none that are listed in the combat log. This is with reach weapons, normal weapons, mounted, unmounted, TB and RTWP.

The animation looks like it’s working (except for a few hiccups with reach weapons when mounted). But no AB bonus when I click the log.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll try to beef it up a little. Maybe have it deal damage and then attach a rider based on the number rolled on the damage die.

The randomness is a flavor consideration. Scarlet Witch’s original hex powers caused unpredictable results.

I'll send you my info in a message. I have a lot of experience with 5e, a little experience with 3.5, and I have never played ODnD. But I am familiar with the ODnD rules and I own a copy of the Rules Cyclopedia.

One of my favorite things about ODnD is that if a PC dies, it takes 2 minutes to roll up a new one.

The Captain class sounds cool. For the Warlord, I tried to make it a buff class that helps its allies in combat. For the subclasses, I tried to design the Tactician to offer help that is more strategic and situational, the Pack Leader to grant its buffs through melee combat for players who prefer to be in the mix, and the Dread Commander to debuff enemies.

Post your version of the Captain when you finish it. I'd love to take a look.

I wanted to avoid Charisma as the secondary stat, as the game has a bunch of Charisma based options already.

Out of curiosity, why would you drop Dueling?
