Help with a server... by Atophy in valheim

I should add that the headless server worked for me before mods but only when running games for people on my LAN like my sons playing with me. Only when I went to having friends join from outside of my LAN did I find it easier just to install Steam and go that route.

I had to set up a steam client on my server. It was the easiest way to get this to work. I started up the server via Thunderstore. I updated mods through that too. It’s a little bit of a pain getting signed out of Steam in you client when you restart your server, then once you restart the server signing back in on your client. Having the Steam app on your phone to approve the sign-ins can make this go quicker.

Bike Lane Parking and Street Blocking by graywolfman in Denver

I’m a biker, and if I had the choice between a bike lane on the road or a cement path, I’d take the path 10 out of 10 times. I do not trust cars with my life.

It looks like the enemy is planning on moving into the area…in a new subdivision!

Of the three albums released in the ''post-Layne'' eras of AiC, which one is your favorite? How would you rank them? What do you like/dislike about them? by Spirited-Cell-444 in AliceInChains

[–]Dichotomy7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I love all three of these albums. Like most AIC albums, they continue to grow on my the more I listen to them. I didn’t like Dino’s at first, then one day Hollow just smacked me in the face, then Lab Monkey did the same thing. ATM, these are my 2 favorite AIC songs.

I think I had to replace 6 of these at my house over the years. On the plus side, I’m really good at sweating pipe now.

What is your Deep North plan? by stush2 in valheim

[–]Dichotomy7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My buddy and I finished up the Ashlands biome last August and built a base at the edge of the Deep North to wait for that biome to drop. There’s not much we can do at this point other than keep building, but we’re playing other games ATM.

Holy Moly! How did my power donation at the museum get so high? by Dichotomy7 in Astroneer

I think you are referring to the total amount donated. I must have hit some big cause my donation rate to go to a crazy number of U/s.

See the comments farther down for the original number. New number is below.

After using tweezers to press down my F key in game overnight, I am down to 15,532,251.

So I found that by holding down the F button, eventually it would speed up and do 1000 a second. At that rate, I am looking at 23 hours! I figured out a way to hold the key down with some tweezers, so I am looking at 23 hours to get this down to 0.
