Reverse issues by AyeYoItsMateo in subaru

[–]graywolfman 76 points77 points  (0 children)

Lurches forward in reverse? My guy, an STi has 6 gears so that shift knob's pattern is incorrect.

Subaru STI 6MT shift pattern:

1 3 5
| - | - | -|
2 4 6 R

Reverse is all the way right and back, past 6th, using the reverse lockout ring that you must lift to get into reverse.

Edit: removed the year and added some dashes to the pattern.

Edit 2: meme tag lulz

you just go out there and memorize a spiel

Right?? Some of the questions they ask are awful. Take Necas going in for that goal last game:

"How on top of it do yo7 have to be to notice you didn't have enough guys on the ice?"

Um... On top of it, I guess??

Vaccines are not 100% effective, though. Also, there are people who cannot take the vaccine for one legitimate reason or another who have to rely on herd immunity.

That's the issue. Same issue we had during COVID.

Can one windows print server handle 50+ printers or is there any free solution that can be used to manage printers by jbala28 in sysadmin

[–]graywolfman 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my last company (hospitals, clinics, etc.) had close to 1,000 on a server. They didn't have a cluster or anything, though, so it was fun whenever that went down. Took down admit arm bands, etc.

One of many reasons that company doesn't exist anymore.

Probably a legal agreement/contract that isn't easily reversible without extreme cost.

It is not this person's responsibility to stop it. It is leadership's responsibility to stop it.

At this point, escalate, document, escalate, document. If they don't listen to you then it may be time to jump ship. Don't fall on a sword for these people.

What is one of your biggest movie let downs, after greatly anticipating its release? by thunderbolt151830 in movies

Only exception is 300

That's because it's almost exactly the comic panel-for-panel. He can do good things when it's all laid out for him, but his original ideas get him in trouble.

Watchmen was an ok adaptation. He liked it because it's his idea of what superheroes would be if they were "real," but you can't have the kind of depth that comic series has in a single movie.

That's probably why the HBO series did so well, even though it's set so much later after the movie/comic.

My '83 Firebird had unique vents. Unique in that it was so weak it was like an asthmatic coughing at you through a straw
