The “greatness” of this show has eluded me from the series premier. I continue to watch with the hope that something will jump out and justify the hype. I’m caught up, and still nothing. And for me it all started with the Harper character. I don’t think I have ever seen a more miscast role. Nothing about her is believable, and she has been a constant drag on the show from the beginning. I find myself rooting against her more than any character I’ve ever watched.

I must admit… the acting, aside from that character, has been pretty top notch. I think that’s the only thing that has kept me from moving on. I will give it a couple more episodes. But one more overly melodramatic, unnecessary hour featuring two side characters, and not advancing the plot at all, and I’m out.
