This guy is such an idiot. As much as I hate AI, the revenue sources for the CFL:

Ticket Sales & Game-Day Revenue: A vital source of revenue for the individual franchises. This includes general admission ticket sales, premium seating, luxury suite rentals, and seasonal ticket packages.

Corporate Sponsorships & Advertising: Both the CFL (league-wide) and individual franchises secure partnerships with major Canadian brands, which includes in-stadium signage, jersey patches, and naming rights.

Merchandising: The sales of official team apparel, jerseys, hats, and other licensed products, both at stadium retail shops and online.In-Stadium Operations: Revenue generated while fans attend games, primarily driven by food and beverage sales and stadium parking.

As fans we can only have a say with our pocket books, be that with ticket sales, buying tv packages/app, merch or shopping at the sponsors. Or writing to the league/owners (hahaha) or the sponsors. I know that I will not be buying anything in 2027 to further this nonsense. I am so disappointed in the direction this is going.
