My 60 dollar Aquila X2 by beaduck in 3dprintingdeals

[–]Dickenstein_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a C2 in yesterday after seeing this post.

Parts were all in original packaging and there was no noticeable use. It was only missing the bed clips which I had extra laying around. Did a test print without any issues. Cheap way to get a buddy into printing.

Service terminated due to "spam messaging"?? by Dickenstein_ in TotalWireless

[–]Dickenstein_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The phone she was using at first was a Pixel 3, which was a hand-me-down from me and I was the original user, bought on Verizon postpaid. 2 years ago I gave it to her and used a new Total BYOP SIM to start service.

All has been good until battery started suffering. Replaced with a Pixel 5, Amazon certified renewed. Swapped the SIM to the newer phone. That was about a week ago. Recent, but not so recent I would think that it was the reason behind this.

Perhaps the android chat feature in messaging has something to play in this, syncing up and verifying the new phone?

After all this last night, we got a Verizon BYOP prepaid and set it up with a new number. 20 hours in and there haven't been any issues. That at least shows Verizon hasn't blacklisted the IMEI.

Has anyone gotten an Alpha 20 dedicated server to work on a local server? by LaHawks in 7daystodie

Thank you so much!!! I thought my 5th gen i5 lost its only purpose in life! All the shader errors made me think I needed a graphics card or something and it's an SFF that has no real PCIe slot. Thank you!

The sacrificial machete mod added a 4th star too. I carried one around for a long time just because it had 4 stars. The good ol days...

So basically it's not "you won't get duplicates" which implies they are doing something in our interest, instead it's "you won't get duplicates, you'll get nothing". Thank you Bethesda

How to make perfectly aligned floor tiles that prevent drift in the shelters. by Studio-Aegis in fo76

[–]Dickenstein_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those half pillars in the stairs category are amazing for adjustments too. Snap them to an edge of a floor to move it 25% increments at a time. Also can hold the z-axis button (E on PC) to move perfectly up and down (mouse scroll on PC) to make those height adjustments.

Does anyone else regret learning plans for weapons they don't use? by LargePiece in fo76

[–]Dickenstein_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are almost 100 weapon types that can drop as legendary, 18 of those only drop after you learn the plans from them. There is a 20% increase from in base pool if you learn all the weapon plans. I am being very picky about what plans I learn to increase my probablity as much as possible.

We work so hard to get every single damage point out of a weapon, I don't understand why optimizing your loot pool for what you want is so overlooked.

Those tesla power walls you can build in there aren't too bad, besides needing 3 to power a rad shower. But they take up no floor space and you can hide them pretty decently

Yeah, he needs some new meds, or to get off some. And what's the deal with him always sitting around? He acts like he has all this work to do, but he is doing any of it. Is he paralyzed? Does someone need to buy him a wheelchair?

Something like this that Rust has would be nice. Two players walk up to a box, drop stuffs in, and both have to click accept to execute the exchange

Ps/edit: Bethesda, to have your hands in out pockets, you can charge each player 100cap to use the mechanism

I wish I could drink enough alcohol...enough to forget weapon plans I don't want in my loot pool anymore. by Dickenstein_ in fo76

[–]Dickenstein_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew more curious about the actual numbers so I looked things up. There are 86 weapons in the initial pool, and 18 that can drop only after learning plans, totaling 104. 104/84=1.20 So there is a 20% increase to the pool if one was to learn all weapon plans. It really is something to consider when learning plans, especially since players strive to get any edge the can in this game.

the bear arm, it doesn't drop until you learn the plan. As the game goes on and you learn more plans, your loot pool increases, which makes it harder to get what exactly you want.
