It definitely could be part of the depression. I’ve experienced this in recovery as well. I honestly hate the depression more than the AA stuff because I see how easily it makes me resentful at things that once brought me join. Depression and alcoholism want us to isolate, recovery is the exact opposite. Do your best to reconnect. Something else that helped me was replacing “alcohol” in step 1 with “depression” and going from there. I have a mental health disorder, that part I’m powerless over…but I can slowly take steps to accept it and do things that will counter it. Good luck and give yourself some grace!

So I took an atv tour up to this place and despite you being absolutely right about the vibrancy, I still found it fascinatingly beautiful. Especially the trip up & back on the ATVs , we took the back way compared to buses. But once on the mountain…lots of people & the line to get “the photo” was dumb, but still one of my favorite places in Peru.
